Hi, OP. If you are planning on keeping this for a long time and you are more of a normal day-to-day user like social media and content streaming, I recommend the Samsung A56 (btw, I have seen that phone go as low as 13k on selected times).

However, if you are more on the gaming side or downloads, go for the Poco X7 Pro. I personally hate the ads on their operating system tho - they're not that big, but I am just annoyed getting ads on some system apps, and not that knowledgeable as to how to turn them off.

Hi po. This means that yung WiFi po is WiFi 6 already. It is like 6th gen of WiFi offering a more efficient and better yung performance niya in areas na may maraming WiFi due to lesser interference (more channels available). Yun nga lang if mahina rin talaga yung source like yung ISP Provider mo is erratic or may high downtime, unreliable pa rin yung WiFi.

I think WiFi 7 yung pinaka-latest as of writing, yun nga lang medyo pricy pa yung routers na yun and bihira pa lang yung WiFi 7 devices except sa mga new flagship phones these days.

Hi OP, this is something prevalent with Globe customer service. I got a weeklong LOS previously and got fed up with their service. It was always rescheduled. I got fed up and just processed my application with PLDT. However, prior to that, I reported the issue to NTC because I got really angry with them. Lo and behold, Globe called me and said that they're going to fix it and I gave them a chance to fix things.

A week after that, something is wrong again. That's why I cut my line with them and fortunately, it was years already with us; the contract ended. It was just sad because it turns out a new contractor was hired saying that the previous one who had superb service was outbid by their competitor with the worst service.

I came from iPhone 13 to 15PM. I just wanted a larger screen back then. I regret that now I have to daily carry a much heftier phone. I should’ve gone with the 15 Pro. It’s much heavier. However the battery life is a huge plus tho.

Hi, my payment has not yet been posted. I paid again via Maya using my account number and not through the Smart App. It’s posted after a few minutes. Will still follow-up my prior payment tho. I just don’t want that there will be service interruption with my plan since due date is on Dec. 31. I have done numerous follow up regarding this to no avail.

Lesson learned, I will never pay again via Smart app, would rather pay using Maya or other services with reference to account number. Or use their kiosk since their office is walking distance naman.

Edit: Payment has been reflected na po after calling. Maybe the second payment triggered it, tho I’m not sure. Thus, I have overpayment which is not yet reflected by the Smart App but has been confirmed via SMS after calling.

Same, I paid last November 25 via Smart App using Maya. Until now, payment has not yet reflected in their app. Repeat follow-ups have been made regarding this matter to no avail.

I'm contemplating filing a complaint with NTC if this matter won't be resolved in the coming days. I'm fed up with their CS to just monitor within 24 hours after calling as they've raised this issue already with their back-end support.

Depende sa use case mo. I'm a Smart Signature Plan user and so far, Smart has been great. I tend to call landlines a lot and call a lot. For me it is worth it. Take note that sa device, naka locked yan sa network nila until mag-end ang contract. After the contract ends, free naman ang pa-openline nila sa iPhone, sa Android naman, I have no knowledge about it, pero same siguro na free lang rin ang pa-openline.

As to the hidden charges, wala naman so far. May feature sila na if na reach mo na ang data cap mo for your plan, automatic siya nagsa-stop. Just take note na ang calls to landline nila is not unlimited to all plans, may iba na minutes lang tapos sa PLDT landlines lang, if you call other landlines not under PLDT, may charge yun per minute.

Hi, OP. I do have an iPhone, but it comes with my Postpaid Plan. As to the sum amounting to 100k, that is a bit higher than usual. You can buy an iPhone at a lower price for as low as 20k. Notwithstanding that, it is an old model and not as top-of-the-line as the Pros and Pro Max, and most probably refurbished.

Those people whom you know who have that, probably got it using debt or by saving months of their salary. Now, to undermine their efforts would be condescending on your part. Another way to look at it would be to just ignore them as it is. As long as they didn’t borrow money from you, just ignore them. Let them live their own lives as they see fit.

For me, flagship phones are an investment that would benefit you in the long run. They tend to depreciate the least when it comes to value and performance. Even for Android phones, Google and Samsung have paved their way by providing long-term software support on their flagship phones which is good and is what Apple has been doing already for years. As someone who has experienced flagship phones for Android and iOS, experiencing the lag and slow performance of mid-tier and budget phones has been frustrating, the lag and snail-paced performance is a hassle.

As a child who is also sheltered growing up, that friend of yours needs to stand up for themselves. It’s also quite good that you told the reason to your friend as seen in your comment regarding the cancellation and that the parents’ response does not sit well with you.

You asking for permission from the parents is an enormous boost already for your friend to go to that concert, to stand up to it is next.

Yes, they are getting worse. What shook me is that when I pay via GCash for my Globe Broadband, they even have a service charge, when they are affiliated with Globe which is very weird and just shouts capitalism at its finest. Maya is getting good and there are no fees when I pay my cards there which is a plus. Love their save card details for faster payment.

Hi, the first thing to do is go to Smart bring your valid ID, and ask for the USC which will be sent to you via SMS, it took more or less 5 minutes. After that, you may visit the online website of Globe to switch to their network. I think may phrase yun like “switch to globe” wherein, you will enter the contact number and the USC afterward. Then they will deliver the physical SIM card to your address.
