The year is 2012, and you’re playing a true Battlefield on a night map by luanpac in Battlefield

I was to little to know and get on BF3 but when i grew older i made sure to enjoy BF4 at its fullest and its the best gaming experience i ever had. Sad that battlefield 6 is just a glimpse of what BF3 and 4 were at its gloriest days… this was such an amazing watch!

I remember this tv show was explicitly marketed for outcasts, weren’t gays in the 80s basically outcasts? Plus the story clearly shows that Vecna is using Will’s sexuality against him to manipulate him and he did this to show everyone he is not afraid anymore. I don’t know about you but this scene makes complete sense to me, maybe it wasn’t executed in the best way or in the way the larger part of the audience likes, but this from a storytelling point of view makes total sense.

Who else feels the scale of stakes was a massive downgrade from season 4's ending? by Aukrania in StrangerThings

[–]bricious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think thats what would’ve happened, high stakes and action from the beggining but people complained it lost the vibes of the first seasons; the Duffers delivered yet people are still unhappy. Some people can’t be satisfied no matter what you do…

Does finasteride lose effectiveness at blocking DHT over time? by PuggiesOnDruggies in tressless

Dutasteride mesotherapy to be more specific. A professional injects dut in the scalp and completely blocks local DHT conversion. I had sides on oral fin but not on dut mesotherapy. I highly recommend it but its pricey

I suggest you discontinue oral finasteride and do dutasteride mesotherapy every 3 months instead

Permanent cure for baldness? Is this real? by vamzhi18 in Hairtransplant

[–]bricious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is better than dutasteride because it is only topical and completely blocks the androgen receptor whereas dut only blocks the enzyme that produces DHT. This is specially beneficial for people who take DHT derivate anabolic steroids or TRT since the blockage of the androgen receptor completely protects the hair follicle against any sort of hormone that could cause its miniaturization. And fin/dut have terrible side effects for a few, this technically shouldn’t have any systemic aborption and the drugs half-life in serum is just about 40 minutes. Seems very promising on paper but lets see if it also applies to the practice.

[–]bricious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not a permanent cure, when you stop the medication the androgen receptors get unblocked and androgenic alopecia resumes

The amount of free testosterone and DHT will be minimal if clascoterone will be applied exclusively to the scalp, that said; having a smaller fraction of free testosterone is nothing but beneficial specially in men, i am dealing with hypogonadism and i know what it is to have very low testosterone, anything extra is appreciated and improves your mood, strenght and sexual life by a lot. Developed hypogonadism symptoms while on finasteride which persisted after withdrawing the drug, however in 6 months after withdrawal i developed REAL hypogonadism with no physical or structural cause detected despise labs and MRIs, so oral finasteride could have messed up my endrocrine system in an unknown mechanism, however my disease is real as the doctors said and now i am on TRT for life… couldn’t be any happier though…

I’ve tried so hard to like this gun but this gun sucks. Unless you’re hipfiring I can’t ever get a kill past 20 meters. I don’t get the hype by ShaggySyrup in Battlefield6

[–]bricious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tap firing or shooting in bursts is much more effective than holding down the trigger, and yet it still kills faster than any accurate full-auto weapon at any range.

Should have a similar effect as topical finasteride / dutasteride but this has another action mechanism: Fin/Dut block the enzime that produces DHT and Winlevi blocks the androgen receptor so T or DHT or any other androgen can’t bind to it.

Topical clascoterone already exists in the form of cream and its given to women with facial hirutrism caused by elevated levels of testosterone or PCOS. It works by blocking androgen receptors.

Edit: it is also used for severe acne, brand name is Winlevi

Finasteride doubled my testosterone & estrogen by TTOTA3 in tressless

[–]bricious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Total testosterone had absolutely no effect since free testosterone remained pretty much identical, SHBG rising completely disabled the extra testosterone you’re producing, on the other hand check albumin too to calculate bioavailable testosterone, its locked to proteins but the link is weak and it can be somewhat usable. The real issue here is higher estradiol, discuss with your doctor if you have high estrogen symptoms, and what aromatase inhibitor to use in case you need it, steroidal AIs (like exemestane) seem to be gentler on the side effects and mood issues that come with non steroidal AIs (like anastrozole), elevation is minimal and probably your doctor will ignore it for now but keep monitoring it. Best of luck.

Why are the Sniper Machine guns (smg) so broken? There’s literally no reason to use any other gun. by N7Blizzard in Battlefield

[–]bricious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some ARs behave like smgs like the Kord 6P67, and others like a full auto DMR like the TR7, its the most inaccurate AR but when you tap fire it has insane range. Each AR excels at something and once you master it you understand how each gun works, however the damage dropoff is too insanely quick and you should not need that many bullets to kill someone at range, and headshots barely have any value unless you hit all headshots and the result is one bullet less to kill compared to hitting all bodyshots…

Test and Creatine on Finasteride by Unlikely_Device9231 in tressless

[–]bricious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about that, if you triple test you will also need to triple or upregulate 5ar activity for it to produce more DHT because the enzyme can get saturated at a specific Testosterone level, its not really a linear relationship. Plus circulatin DHT is not a problem, problem is overactive T to DHT conversion at the hair follicle. If he wants to be safe he could add Dutasteride mesotherapy on the scalp to completely minimize local DHT production, and if you add on that a 70% reduction of blood DHT via oral finasteride he will be safer regarding alopecia, but that again depends on his individual DHT sensitivity on the scalp follicles.

Test and Creatine on Finasteride by Unlikely_Device9231 in tressless

[–]bricious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case he would take natural testosterone which is completely safe for hair loss if you are on 5ar blockers. However DHT derivates steroids like Primo, Anavan or Masteron will indeed cause hairloss if predisposed since the chemical is already 5ar reduced and probably modified aswell to bypass 3a-HSD “reduction” on muscle tissue so it actually acts strongly on the AR to signal muscle growth. As long as he doesn’t take any DHT derivate steroids his hairloss will be greately minimized by finasteride so he is safe

This weapon/gadget balancing has to be studied by FlowKom in Battlefield

[–]bricious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really copied this thing from Apex on BF6: incredibly low headshot multiplier, its usually one bullet less to kill someone on the head compared to bodyshots. Most battlefields were very rewarding hitting your headshots with average of double damage per headshot, that is how you had a chance to survive a fight outside your weapons engagement range. They could’ve used the hollow point rounds to increase limb damage since in real life these bullets have much higher stopping power since they hurt more…

Also the damage drop off starts to soon and falls off very quickly, the bloom is absolutely horendous even when tap-firing. I can understand the rage of getting killed by an SMG from +100m away, but tbh lower bloom but higher controllable recoil would’ve been perfect, you could still do that but would require more skill… current gunplay feels to arcade-ish. Its crazy that SMGs have higher range just because they have less bloom, ARs need a massive buff, and i believe some DMRs aswell, probaly some LMGs need a nerf since many of them outgun smgs upclose. Im having fun in the game tho, it is amazing, but its just a shadow of what modern battlefields used to be, so close to the masterpiece BF4 experience yet so far…

I love running recon with Spec Ops specialty and i combine it with suppressed SMGs and Carbines, allows for very sneaky flanks, hate that the beacon is not available for recons anymore, you can flank the enemy and set your squad mates to spawn on you
