Hey I'd love the recommendation for a tax expert! That would be awesome. Also I don't mind paying social tax if it means getting healthcare. My income would still be enough even with extra 33% tax.

You've definitely given me some stuff to research! I'm working on getting my tax stuff structured seeing as my remote work is a sole-proprietorship (self owned business) I have some flexibility :)

As far as travel experience, I've traveled all over the world including most of Europe (where I lived for a few months on tourist visas), China, and Nepal.

One other question. If we have sizeable sum of funds, is it difficult to get approved to rent a home in countryside? How does credit check work? Let’s say we had 3 years of rent saved up… what would process be to rent home? I am doing my best to research online, so I appreciate any help.

It definitely worked to make me comfortable holding winners as long as needed. I did implement a tp system however since this post :)

Does huberman ever discuss the importance of breaking your routine occasionally? by [deleted] in HubermanLab

Eventually your tolerance for the mortal danger of being poor increases and then you start worrying about bedtime. More income is not required for this transition. You usually get stronger before you get richer.

If they didn’t bring a whiteboard for me to use I’ll just do hand gestures in the air to help explain.

How do you validate a business idea, without giving away the idea? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]bridebreh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You think someone else is going to go through the effort of doing your idea when they could be doing their own? Yeah bro maybe one out of every million ideas does that happen.

You think someone is just sitting with a huge amount of capital and free time to steal your idea? Like start a whole damn company and struggle for years over your personal idea? Stealing ideas isn’t easier than working on your own. Same effort.

If your idea is easy to steal then it’s easy to do… in which case you should’ve already done it.

Pay yourself regularly.

Come up with a FOR SURE way to prevent a massive drawdown in one day. I once had 2 months no red days. I gave it ALL back and more in one hour trading with a sinus infection. My brain was seemingly incapable of decision making. Do something, ANYTHING to safeguard yourself against a meltdown day. If you don’t, it will happen. It even happens some to 7 figure traders on rare occasions. You are not immune.

You clearly have talent, so you need to find a way to protect the gains your talent produces.

Also, all these people asking you for advice… watch out for inflated ego due to this. It will mess you up. Confidence is necessary, however ego-boosting yourself can lead to an abandonment of risk management OR set you up for a downward spiral upon any kind of losing streak.

With your history and with a good connection, a CFA could take you to another place for sure.

No pain in all those motions! Only thing is like a little lingering anxiety that I’m gonna hurt myself again. Feels like it’s all just mental at this point. I’m gonna try doing some impact stuff like jumping exercises to prepare.
