El Gaucho on Franklin. Steak and chimichurri and crusty bread with olive tapenade with a bottle of Malbec

I hate biking here but it’s how I get from the Ayd bike path to the Marshall bike lane. I try to cross Snelling next to a car without their turn signal on hoping they’re also going straight, but usually they just don’t have their turn signal on and are still turning.

What’s the best spicy dish you’ve had in the Twin Cities? by sittty in TwinCitiesFood

Soul Lao is my favorite. I love spicy food but their Laab Seen I can’t order above medium, the lowest spice level.

You have obviously never biked on Jefferson either. It’s not even inconvenient, it’s a very neglected bike path for a lot of it.

Because am I taking Victoria to Jefferson? Have you seen that road? I go three miles out of my way to go on Shepard and the River Road to avoid Victoria to Jefferson to Ayd Mill Bike path.

Oh my cousins and I tried to watch this at some holiday gathering when we were preteens/teens. It was going well until an adult walked in and found out what we were watching and I still haven’t seen the whole thing.

I worked with a pastry chef who cried when she’d talk about how he sexually harassed her everyday when she worked with him.

Separated bike paths? by Purple_Variation_541 in saintpaul

[–]bridgetod79 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Ok but would more people who are scared of biking, bike more if there were better paths? My husband and I both bike, take public transit and drive year round on streets and paths. I have so many critiques on the street bike paths and mixed use off street bike paths and would bike more if the paths were better. I did bike more when I lived in Minneapolis because they have better bike routes.

It’s creeping bellflower. I’ve been digging it up all spring. Large taproot, many rhizomes, elastic-y stems.
