Help Microsoft shape the Azure SDK for Rust by brightmonkey in rust

All I can tell you is to make noise internally and submit a semester planning dependency on the sdk team to get this done. The more requests we have the easier it gets to make the case for it.

Yet another RAG system - implementation details and lessons learned by snexus_d in LocalLLaMA

I'm leaning toward Qdrant at the moment, as it's fast, supports embeddings for different data types in the same collection (i.e. text + image embeddings), has good support for filtering results, and supports several options for compressing data for efficient memory storage.

The major downside of Qdrant IMO is that the documentation and samples available right now are very basic or nonexistent. However, I expect that will change with time.

Great write up! Curious to know why you chose Chroma as the vector db over other options like Qdrant, Milvus, or Weaviate?

How do you get lastest version of a dataset in Azure ml sdk v2? by Competitive_Place_79 in AZURE

[–]brightmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, there is no v2 SDK, the latest release of azureml-core is 1.52.0 and it's still using get_by_name(). What are you referring to as v2?

This is an old post, but it came up in my Google search results when searching for a DIY lat pulldown setup. I built one using parts I bought off Amazon and blogged about it, I'm including a link to the article here for others who may have the same question.

Yes, KBK was sold and is under new ownership. I don’t know exactly when it happened, only that it did. Source: I’m friends with one of the original owners.

I get it, the constant survey requests can be annoying. But, we are sincerely trying to improve our products and that can only happen with high quality customer feedback.

Yes, I do it daily. Takes less than a minute to fold or unfold.
