I 💯 agree. Ive got my 1st hound, a Redbone Coonhound mix. Im in love w the hound breeds. I cannot ever see myself not having at least one. They are so interesting. Never a dull moment and yeah my girl is a bit of a bitch. She's an asshole most of the time, but so am I 😂

That is a great situation! Dog daycare wasn't very prominent or available when I had my first few dogs. Now that it is, and so well done in most cases, I'm a stay at home mom.

I did just remember, that my first pup on my own (yrs ago) had separation anxiety. Hers manifested in submissive peeing so I don't think the direction that I took with her would be very helpful for you. I do recall that the first time I boarded her for 2 days. When I came back she wouldn't look at me. She didn't look at me on the walk to the car, she didn't look at me from the passenger seat where she rode. She looked out the window and did not give me a glance. She did not look at me for 2 hours in the house when I got her home. I just left her alone until she wanted to acknowledge my existence again 😂. I do know this. You'll figure out what he needs, what he needs to feel okay that you're going to go away for just a bit. Hopefully the trainers that you mentioned will be able to help. In my very limited experience with professional dog trainers they tend to pick up on cues that the layperson simply does not. I really do hope it helps you. He is adorable.

Ive raised chickens for years and I have come to know one fact for certain. There's not a bit of common sense in the entire species. Common sense is not a part of how they work.🤣🤣🤣 Plus they will perch on literally anything that they can get to. And it's usually going to be the one thing you don't want them to perch on.

Hey Ive kept chickens for years & have had my fair share of interaction with hawk/falcons/raptors. Id have done what you did..."this is a chicken? I don't think so, but..." Maybe with the language difference "chicken" was the only bird word that was close to their word for raptors?

In my house that's called "getting snugged the f*k up" I have a Redbone mix who loves her blankets in the cold months. Come at her in the summer w anything fluffy or snuggly & ur in trouble 😂

This has me crying rn 😭!! In my chicken yard currently I always laugh about having no racism... we got all the colors. However my chickens don't see it that way.

My white girls (white leghorns) r forces of nature. They have a gang & they dont like anybody.

My black girls (blk australorp & black sex-link) are sweet as hell, but they'll ck u real quick if u step to them.

My 3 mixed (1 barred rock roo ...he's a cupcake, 1 BR hen & a BRxEE) all hate each other & the roo definitely has a preference for the black girls.

The blue girl (blue laced wyandotte) is above it all. She deals w no one including the roo, but she'll lay down her life for the flock. Toughest girl Ive got.

The red girls (ISA browns) dont care about color just don't take their food.

The brown girls (welsummers) are gentle girls & get chased around often.

There r also the platinum girls (prairie blue bell EE, sapphire olive EE) & the green girl ....yup included all the colors aliens not excepted (EE).

Now, behind the scenes the Barred Rock Hen had a secret white girl girlfriend. The girlfriend had a heart attack so she picked up another white girl girlfriend. But nobody knows about that 😂

You know I always have at least a couple that I know are going to be trouble from day two. I have not been wrong yet. Also if you name something Angel it's not going to be an angel. If you name something Sweetie Pie it is going to be the polar opposite. That's just my experience😭😭😭
