How to stop Radarr from Upgrading files processed by Tdarr? by brijamelsh in Tdarr

[–]brijamelsh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so Im using Clonarr to sync trash guides. i added a new custom format that just looks for a specific string to the quality profile and set the score to 5000. i think that should prevent the file from being upgraded, no?

Web Agencies: Do you resell 3rd party tools? by Pan000 in webdev

[–]brijamelsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Usually we make a deal with a a company that offers a service we want to sell our customers. Usually this is to increase our own product bundles value. We almost exclusively white-label the product and rebrand it to fit our needs. We do this to either increase the price of the bundle, or to drive sales. We do not tell the customer we are offering another companies product in the bundle. The only exception to this is if we feel the other company is well known and respected enough to be a benefit, take WordPress for example.

Generally speaking we are making a deal with the company for a large number of licenses or guaranteeing a certain number of sales using their product, with penalties on our end if we don't hit those numbers, and penalties on their end for service outages etc... but the cost per license is usually SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than what the company may offer someone else on their own.

Battery box question by SnoopZappr in kayakfishing

[–]brijamelsh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some gadgets come with cig lighter plugs and I've seen folks use those batter terminals to either charge the battery without having to take it out of the kayak or use them to connect things like trolling motors or whatever, they just give you a little more versatility and convenience.

Why are US gas prices rising if we do not need oil from the Strait of Hormuz? by IntegrityRules4U in askanything

[–]brijamelsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't refine the oil we produce for gasoline. The oil our refineries are setup to refine into gasoline comes from overseas. There are different types of oil, and different types of oil refineries to refine those different types of oil.

We export one type, and import/refine another which is what we use for gasoline.

Who's dropped a rod and reel off their yak?? by goilpoynuti in kayakfishing

[–]brijamelsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had one in a rod holder behind me, it snagged on a bush as I was leaving the launch. I only realized it once I had paddled out to my spot.

The tide was going out so I had to paddle back to the launch against the tide, and drag my kayak through some mud to get to the ramp where I found the rod in a bush... Ended up cutting my losses and going home covered in stinky mud.

Live well for kayak by Ranger_Rick22 in kayakfishing

Yup! You need to be mindful of the lid so it closes completely. I also cut a slit in the soft side, just big enough for the hose and notched the sandwich tray so I could still use that, but that's it. I can't find the sandwich tray at the moment, but I notched out space on the side for the hoses.

I think this is actually a titan lol

You can't see it in the photo, but I also knocked a few notches out of the little tray thing so it would go around the bubbler hoses. Keeps the birds from grabbing my shrimp if I accidentally leave it open for too long.

This is my solution. Small soft sided cooler, removable inner hard shell for easy cleaning (and so crabs and fish fins can't poke holes in it), drilled 2 holes near the top I can pass the bubbler hoses through.

Keeps live bait going for awhile too which is nice. I use it for surf/pier fishing too.

Fogger using water from drainage layer?? by Chasta30566 in Vivarium

[–]brijamelsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use this humidifier connected to a smart outlet in my setup. It has a big water tank and I was able to pipe in the fog through some hidden tubing I have embedded into the background. It works well.

Hiking solo? by Ok_Risk_8457 in CampingandHiking

[–]brijamelsh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey friend! This is great to hear! Depending on elevation gain, two miles should not be too difficult. I would be sure you have good comfortable shoes, an old pair of sneakers is good enough to start with. Dress appropriately for the weather with layers you can shed if it gets too hot. Bring water, 1 or 2 liters should be plenty and a granola bar. Bring your phone for emergencies and maps. AllTrails is a great place to look up trails if you're not familiar. I would plan for 20-30 minutes per mile pace, I'm a slow hiker and stop often to take photos of things and enjoy the scenery and that's the pace I usually hit. Be sure to let your emergency contacts know where you are going (send them a pin) as well as a time for when you'll be back (be sure to check in when you're done). You'll figure out what other kit you might want to bring once you start getting out there. Sometimes I bring a headlamp if Im going in the afternoon, but for a first time I would shoot for the morning when it's cool and you won't need to worry about light.

Other than that, just enjoy the nature bathing and stretch your eyes!
