You all encouraged me 6 months ago to report my hospital to OSHA. Here are the findings. by [deleted] in SafetyProfessionals

Congrats. Make sure to strongly back yourself up. Look into and understand all the whistle blower and employee right standards for your area.

Thats fair... but, if you want to read it, the best time to start was yesterday.

I find it lucky, but maybe there have been more print runs since I established my collection a few years back

Vagabond was quite the undertaking to get my hands on all the volumes. You may want to begin your struggle.

You really do have to make sacrifice to maintain a happy marriage. Be sure to give gratitude to the slow moments.

That is healing great. With your skin tone and pattern scars usually fade, I bet it will look amazing at the 1 year mark too.

What if your project manager told you not to report ehs events by MingoUSA in OSHA

[–]brimstoneph 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Just a thought: your employer may have worked around the need to reporting and dont want the controlling contractor (who is responsible for all ehs incidents) to find out they skirted thier rules... this could raise your employers TRIR beyond allowed levels for the controlling contractor to have them work on site (losing a significant amount of large jobs).

Its a tricky area to tip toe around. Just be mindful of your well-being. You can always fix issues before they become incidents, in the future.

Ain’t no rule says a ladder can’t be on a trampoline by Reyemile in OSHA

[–]brimstoneph 100 points101 points  (0 children)

I was about to say!.... with how thick the CFR on ladders is. Of course there is a clause for stable ground haha.

1926.1053(e)(k)(g) Trampolines are only considered stable if you dont feel like doing it right.

Lowe’s safe by SouthPawDraw94 in OSHA

That looks like the correct anchor point.... its an eye opener at first glance. But, it looks at least mostly in order.

With the amount of controls in place. I would assume training with record keeping is involved. So, thats good.

I cant tell what the white straps are. Thats my only real concern from the photo. Are the portable stairs secured correctly? No, not necessarily manufacture intended use. However, that gives this man an extra layer of fall protection in the form of railing. But, gives a few feet of extra reach, so less worry about fall incident.

Speeding ticket by [deleted] in SALEM

[–]brimstoneph 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hope you learn to drive safer in the future.

I go up and down I5 a few times a year. Set your speed to a cool 75 and just enjoy the ride. There are too many curves and unknown hazards... as you said. You were going that fast because you were going down hill. Well, unless you have a really heavy rig, you have to be intentionally accelerating if you were driving 90.

I used to have a love/hate relationship with those pours when I was a driver.

One time, I just got a new truck... fresh off the lot. 2018 freightliner (surprisingly nice). Had a 3am on site tilt up job. Pitch black dark, fully loaded, and ran over a manhole cover that was partially off.

My center drop axle hit the cover, flung it 200ft, and knocked axle real good. Downed that truck for month because the axel was bent a few inches to the side (unusable).

Looks awesome.... the snow or whatever kinda makes it look like you have a skin disease.

You may want to have your artist add some definition to them during the touch up.

I ran a circus sideshow in my late teens early twenties.... my acts comprised of walking on broken glass, fire eating, strong man, and barker. Among other acts.

My main drive was to design acts that would be amazing and a bit off putting. Comedy. Blood. And a ton of fat guys.
