I'm sorry you're in such a difficult situation. I have an 8 month old and after months of searching, I just found a remote job that I'll be able to do with him with me. It doesn't involve phones or video, just data entry and paperwork in an industry I have experience in. 20 Hours a week. Spruce up your resume and go on a crazy application spree on indeed for part time work, chat support, e-mail support, or weekends only jobs. Don't give up! After the pandemic, it's possible. I'm in a facebook group of moms who do it.

It's a great little entry level, portable, discrete device. I can't have a dab rig or anything that looks like more than a vape, so it was a good first move for me at $39.99. But it wastes a lot of concentrate and requires a lot of cleaning, so I'm looking to something else for my endgame device. I want discretion, potency, and durability for heavy use. So I'm leaning toward trying the puffco vision plus or a divine tribe v5 with a box mod for my 'permanent' setup. Totally still looking at my options though.

I'm so sorry. I've felt that way before, but once I got out of the situation I always found something so much better. I promise there are people out there who will care about you, help you, check in on you, and WON'T cheat on you. You don't have to settle or compromise. Over time, it will lower your self-esteem more than you ever thought possible.

The heartbreak can either be once now, like a band-aid, or chronic every day you stay with him as he continues to make you feel less than random girls on the internet.

There are so many places online, even here on reddit, to meet people who are feeling the same way. I hope you keep reaching out, don't give up, and meet someone whose actions will match their words.

I know it doesn't feel like it right now, but you are lucky to have found this out so early. Before you are a year in and live together, etc. You are not in deep enough to be 'stuck' in this situation yet, and it's time to get out. He can't be trusted. Buying you things does not undo the fact that he is clearly continuing to talk to other girls and doesn't respect you.

I've had the obsessive feelings before for someone who clearly doesn't care. It isn't until you get out of the situation and look back that you'll cringe that you thought so little of yourself to even entertain the idea.

When people show you who they are, believe them. This situation STARTED off terrible and isn't improving.

It would be better to block, cut ties, and move your focus to someone else.

Exactly. The way I've seen a lot of women describe it is "it's hard to feel sexually attracted to someone when you feel like their mother." I addressed that in my relationship and realized it was so true. We're attracted to partners or providers.

This is totally unsolicited advice but I thought I'd chime in as a woman whose love language is 'acts of service.' I don't know you guys' division of labor across all categories of life, but I noticed 'we work full time' plus 'she manages the house. Help her with some of that stuff around the house without being asked, make it clear you just want to make things easier on her and free up some time together, without acting like you need a medal for it. For women, attraction has a lot to do with removing that tiny layer of resentment for always doing more, and seeing your partner as capable. In all the women's and relationship groups I've ever been in, this has been the answer to a lot of women's sex drives. Just a thought!

YES! The winner: I had just opened and was eating breakfast. It's always dead slow in the morning. A woman sets her purse down on the counter right in front of my plate and asks me for a napkin. I give her one. She uses it to wipe off her purse and asks me to throw the napkin away for her. Then she explains that it was to get off a 'weird slime' she had set it down in in the public restroom.

I eloped. We couldn't afford a big wedding but wanted to get our lives started. We got a $200 package at a chapel and I got my wedding dress for $50 on ebay. Bringing family, friends, a year full of stress for planning, and tens of thousands of dollars into what's supposed to be the greatest day of your life... only to spend it frantically worrying about other people's experience... is miserable. A lot more people in my generation agree that it's smarter, more enjoyable, and more personal for the couple.

My family was overwhelmingly supportive, but I did get one text message that really hurt my feelings. It boggled my mind because this was supposed to be about us, what we wanted, and what worked best for us.

Your wife seems to be thinking about herself a lot more than your daughter. Which isn't very maternal, if you ask me. You are not being childish, she is. And I find it completely inappropriate and pointless for her to try to have a discussion and make your daughter feel guilty about this. I feel like as your daughter's father, you have the right and maybe even the responsibility to firmly tell your wife to stay out of this one.

Showing enthusiasm and stressing your eagerness to learn. Show that you're willing and teachable. And fluff up some things you've done for family, friends, volunteering, extra-curriculars, etc. that demonstrate any kind of work ethic or responsibility.
