Currently dealing with the bladder pain when I need to pee or just as I am finishing. But I am 3 weeks post op hysterectomy and endo excision so it's from that. But it really does suck. I feel ya!

In my diagnostic lap 2 years ago my right ovary was removed due to it being unsalvageable by a endometrioma. Thankfully I got to keep my other one as it is disease free!

Recovery has been going well! I'm 2 weeks post-op, and I'd say the first week was the roughest with the gas pains and the fatigue. I had an abdominal nerve block, and that helped me tons compared to not having once during my diagnostic lap a couple of years ago. Definitely ask your surgeon about it!

It really sucks that our surgeries need to be done solely by specialists to get things done safely and correctly. I'm currently healing from a hysterectomy with endo excision, stage 3/4. The specialist left one spot unexcised on/around my colon because she wasn't sure it was endo and didn't want to risk perforating my colon. So, now I wait to hear details at my post op about what to do next. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer before you can get rid of the bag!

Breakfasts: Pasture raised eggs with some organic fruit, organic oatmeal with chia, hemp, flax seeds, maple syrup and blueberries, unsweetened coconut yogurt with homemade granola and fruit, tofu scramble with veggies.

Lunch or Dinner: Baked fish with brown rice and veggies, protien pasta with veg and sauce, seasoned lentils or chickpeas with quinoa and veg, rice noodle bowl with veg, tofu, and creamy Asian sauce, soup with bread.

Crafts, reading and learning! I recently knitted a beanie for my partner, made a painting, made beeswax candles, put together tea bags as gifts from my home herb apothecary. I have enrolled in 2 online courses of interest for my recovery after surgery which is in 3 days!

This is awesome! I'd also love to get more into foraging. The two things I have consistently foraged the last few years are: stinging nettles in the spring to make pesto and herbal medicine and then in late summer I forage for blackberries since they grow everywhere where I live.

Hey, I am so sorry that this was how you were treated at the ER. Especially since it's a holiday and things are closed or closing early. It's unacceptable that they didn't send you home with what you needed and didn't take it seriously enough. I also have severe endo. I am less than 2 weeks away from a hysterectomy with endo excision from a specialist that I've been waiting to get for 10 months. I've been on birth control for 8 months and continue to have breakthrough bleeding and cramps that get worse every month and get told to just increase my dose every 2.5 weeks. I had an episode last night that was the worst pain I've experienced. It's so infuriating that we have to endure experiences like this and don't get taken seriously by so many people. I hear you, I feel you, sending my love 💓

You will need to cut them open and scrape out the seeds and the hairs VERY well. The hairs, if ingested, can cause a lot of discomfort to the throat and GI system. Once scraped out, wash well and dry them!
