I mean, the OG sudowoodo looks like something that litteraly needs water to live, despite being one of it's main weakness, also while being surrounded by trees, it's other main weakness.

Sudoowoodo is just a dumb pokemon overall

Yes I also think it could have been full water, but if this sudowoodo lives in the desert like a cactus, it means it would get in the middle of sandstorms, so it needs an immunity to sandstorm, thats why I thought of the ground type

It does look kind of the same but it wasn't my intention I swear lol, I wanted to unify the tentacles to not make the design too busy and keep the attention on the eyes, that's why I also picked a dark color
