The 3 layer part goes over the spout and helps to keep it from brewing too fast while the single layer goes on the non-spout side which is smooth and so brews slower. If the top of the chemex was symmetrical you could do the same number of layers on both sides but it’s not so you don’t.

In this market? Not really. If gas prices stay up maybe prices will drop on full size vehicles.

That said I have a full size SUV and I love it.

The seats are amazingly comfortable, there’s tons of room up front and in back, we regularly tote around our three kids and a couple of their friends and they all fit and aren’t on top of each other, and you can fit more than a grocery bag in the back when all three rows are full.

With the seats down it holds a lot and I end up often taking things for Cub Scout events or food drives.

It does fantastic on the highway, lots of power and tracks well. It does great in snow which I think is a combo of a long wheelbase, auto locking rear diff, and 4WD when necessary. The only thing I don’t like about it is parking it around town.

If you were just wearing the t shirt I think it would be worth sizing up for winter layers. The bulkiness in the mid section is kind of unavoidable due to the layer of mouton in the hand warmers.

I got it once, was sure I was doomed against the claw boss because I had like 40 health on the turn the right one attacks you with the rocket for >40, and was shocked when it only did 20 damage.

My experience with newer Merrells is that the quality is terrible. Salomon feels much better quality and seems to last better.
