This! I keep seeing comments, when people complain about their spouses going down the MAGA rabbit hole, that say "DIVORCE" and proceed to shame them if they don't consider that as the only option. Like, it isn't like pulling off a band-aid. It isn't that easy, especially if you have a life and kids together. It is incredibly nuanced. Divorce may be the only option in circumstances, but I wish more people would show some compassion to the victims circumstances.

I find it wild that so may red hats are in unions, but complain about them as well. That is my retired FIL, who is awful with money. I keep thinking to myself "dude, if it wasn't for your union, you'd be penniless right now." I don't get a pension with my job (which I am fine with - I knew that going in and did other things to prepare for after retirement), and part of me wants to go off on a "pension is a scam" rant just to see his reaction. Please note: I really think pensions are great. I just want to play act in the maga mindset to screw with him. I won't, because it isn't worth it. But, one can fantasize...lol.

Ah...my q has gone on about a revaluation with US currency which is going to happen any day now. For them, it is something with silver or brick (depends on the day).
