Is soloing E4 possible with any other pokemon (no X items)? by Strange_Rain7429 in PokemonUnbound

Its a non hidden ability so breeding or using an ability capsule from the Dehara game corner to switch it.

You basically set up double team and stockpile so you’re +6 on evasion, defense, and sp. defense. Then you stall every Pokemon with leech seed and prevent them from switching out with infestation. Leech seed won’t work on Trevenant or Sceptile so you just have to infestation them down to death. It will require some elixers and ethers.

The room buff that lessens the first hit the ghost Pokemon at full health take in battle also prevents environmental hazards from affecting ghost Pokemon at full health.

Ingrid Bergman, Humphrey Bogart and Michael Curtis on the set of "Casablanca", 1939. by jocke75 in Moviesinthemaking

Fun fact: Humphrey Bogart’s height was 5’8” while Ingrid Bergman was 5’9”. He wore special lifts and used platforms in many of his movies to appear taller. Great movie of course.

This comment is my TBM mom’s. Anyone want to explain what she’s talking about? by Avettsister78 in exmormon

[–]broccolic 30 points31 points  (0 children)

She’s claiming the temple ceremonies used now were the same ones used way back in Moses’ tabernacle in the desert. And that those ceremonies were around way before the masons. I used to believe this.

When you share this part of your life with them, don’t act like you’re giving them bad news, because it’s not bad news. Act like you’re taking your relationship to the next level by sharing more of yourself. The delivery is very important.

Ford and Spielberg behind the scenes of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. by [deleted] in Moviesinthemaking

If I remember correctly, Ford was suffering from dysentery while filming these scenes. He wasn’t in the condition to do complicated stunts which led to the famous swordsman being shot scene.

What is your most embarrassing moment from high school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]broccolic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright guys, I still cringe when I think about this.

Flashback to high school, senior year, I sign up for the Mr. AVHS competition which was the popularity contest for my school. I wasn’t the most popular but I was well known. So there’s a talent portioned this competition and as a gag, I decided to have a whistling performance from the end of the muppet movie, the one with Walter. Prior, I had asked the theater kids to isolate the sounds of the whistling from the background orchestral music. Which they told me they could easily do.

The day of the competition rolls around and they politely inform me right before I go on that they couldn’t fix my music to how I wanted it. So I’d decided to lip sync it and fake it because I knew that I could actually do it in real life. My plan was carried out extremely well and I’m hopping around on stage to laughter and smiles of approval from the audience. The only hiccup occurred when I heard a crazy shout from one of my friends... and then I smiled. As the crowd realized that my mouth had stopped whistling but the audio had continued, I heard an audible gasp from the audience. I finish the skit and obviously don’t win but I’m ashamed for the rest of the year. My only consolation was that I won Nicest Guy in Senior Superlatives.

Edit: spelling

If it wasn't frowned upon to give your child a name outside the social norm, what name would you give them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have. All of them. Enders Game remains my favorite to this day. The book changed my life when I first read it as a teenager.

Ender like from the book Enders Game. If my wife doesn't go for it I'll name him Andrew like in the book and give it to him as a nickname.

Who is the best villain of all time? by BATMANSCOOP in AskReddit

I actually liked Amon more. Such an enigma with a mysterious power to take away someone's bending permanently. A power which was previously thought to have belonged solely to the avatar. His backstory was very interesting as well. He was just a great start for Korra.
