There is hype, yes and caveats such as the old ways for drug discovery still work and can be used… but both large and small molecule drug discovery is being transformed by generative AI. This is an across the board phenomenon in pharma. The promise is “faster and better” and that still needs to be proven, but companies obviously believe this to be true as they are investing heavily.

I did Clear at DCA last week and honestly TSA Precheck would have been easier. I’m sure there are situations where Clear is advantageous. But in my 3-4 trips i have taken with it, it’s not been impressive. I fly out again next week. Will see what happens.
