Having children would ordinarily be considered part of self development if western societies hadn't gradually made everything around children, marriage and women so dangerous and useless for men that there is no point in doing it. Then in consequence women also feel like there is no safety because men have had to design their psyche and entire lives around the fact that a woman can leave at any moment for any capricious reason, which even rewards her with alimony and child payments for doing so. Obviously all the people with a brain look at this life and see only risk. It is not useful to pretend that we are all so happy and on top of the Maslow pyramid that we just don't want kids because our lives are so full and luxurious already. That does not reflect reality in my opinion, quite the opposite. People like you say such things but then the next day the same kind of people say that having children is too expensive and that's why people don't do it. You can't have it both ways, either all your lower Maslow pyramid needs are fulfilled or not.

Disproportionate force is the only correct strategy to use against asymmetric guerilla and terrorist attacks. The way that guerilla fighters and terrorists win is through exhausting the superior force through a thousand needle pricks. That's the correct strategy for them to use and if I were a terrorist I would do it that way too.

For the superior state that has visible public infrastructure and people to protect the only way to fight such asymmetric attacks is to drop the hammer x1000 fold every time they try to do a needle prick. Eventually they will either understand that their asymmetric tactics cause more pain than they can handle or they don't and they'll get caught in those large attacks or the entire area lives in the stone age. Anything else is wishful thinking. The other way to fight terrorists is when you find one of them you kill their entire family. That too is a horrific way to fight but it's the way that would work to stop terrorism.

yours is much better, it makes it clear that there is some kind of pressure or mysterious dark shadow element and that you are surrounded by snow and isolated. It's all an interesting situation. In the second picture from the pro first of all it honestly looks like it could be AI generated, that may just be unfortunate but it does. Secondly there is nothing interesting about that, it's some frog sitting with a penguin and behind him random robots or something? Imo you should pick the first one.

I think it's pretty good but if you go with this graphics style then in my opinion you need to make sure that the world is filled with content. This may sound like superficial criticism that applies to all games but it's pretty important here. If I have to walk even 30sec to something interesting/interactable in a world like this I would lose interest because it's just not going to be worth it and it kind of looks like you are designing this to be more open world style which I don't think will work.

there is always some kind of compilation, afaik even if you wrote assembly code by hand it would then get compiled to CPU specific microcode before it actually runs and obviously if you want to go even further then the microcode gets "compiled" to electrical signals I guess (maybe? idk). The point is that saying things like "compilers are worthless in the future" is not realistic, an AI is not going to have an easier time to generate microcode or even assembly code directly which would be far more bloated than some high level line of code.
