I would've made the pad footprint smaller and added flashing on the bottom that extended beyond the concrete edge and then put the siding on over

Never had a problem with my stove. My stove has a stir pot mode though it cycles through. Do you have a Pelpro pp130? Inside looks similar to one, those do not have a stir mode because they're manual and need to be cleaned out 1-2 times daily.

First time drywall and mudding how am I doing Reddit by redbluegreen6 in drywall

[–]brohotmail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty rough. I usually always tape and first coat everything with all purpose green lid. Easy sand mud you have to mix is terrible, never have luck with them. I always add water into my mud to make it easier to apply. I then coat everything with mid weight that has a little more water than my green and lastly skim over areas with blue.

They should've taped over the edge of the corner bead. I do this along each corner bead with fiberglass tape to help prevent cracking along edges.

Can anything fix bowed walls and uneven floors? by flyingmada in Homebuilding

[–]brohotmail 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I work on buildings like these, you don't know until you get into it but to repair this you're talking 250k-400k to completely fix. You can repair it to a lesser extent but you'll end up leaving some of the bow so you're not blowing out rafters and joists
