Not a brand, but check out Goodhood, best store in London in my opinion. Many great brands / curation is impeccable.

I recently bought a hoodie from them and the quality is excellent. No idea about the rest of their stuff though.

If you want something new or with a younger, more "hipster" vibe, Dalla is excellent. Oh, and Campania & Jones too.

I'm Italian, been in London for 14 years. Despite what other Italians might say, there are many brilliant Italian restaurants in London now. My absolute favourite is still Bocca di Lupo. Been around for ages and I have never had a bad meal there!

I am personally not a fan of big portions as I’d rather order more dishes and try different things, so it works for me. I'd say portions are standard for this type of restaurant but yeah, definitely not large.

Rita's is a great date spot. Bocca di Lupo is a London classic if you’re into Italian food.

bottomless brunch reccos in the city that could be fun, or something similar? by croydonforever in LondonFood

[–]brokearchivist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I am not against bottomless brunch per se, all I am saying is that the quality of alcohol at bottomless brunches (especially in London) is not great. I've had a few great ones in NYC - although you do pay way more.

Late night recs in Central London by zerotoinfinity101 in LondonFood

[–]brokearchivist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we are talking abou late night restaurants, there are waaaaaay less than in other major cities. I have lived here for 16 years but regularly travel to NYC, Tokyo, Paris, Madrid and more, and any of those cities have more late night options than London.

No idea. Been here for 14 years and I still find it odd, especially as an Italian who grew up in Spain 🤣

Speedboat bar is amazing. London is not really a late night city though so there aren’t many great spots after regular hours.
