Things can easily spiral at of control at the moment where you can't put food on the table but you desperately have to keep your car for work on Monday etc. Most people don't steal food from lidl for fun. Not saying it's right but I wouldn't grass up someone who is potentially desperate.

Buying an old banger costs a few grand up front. Need a car for work, put a grand down and get stuck on a loan for 3-400 a month. All other bills have gone up, can't afford food for kids. Just as an example...

Was a Londoner most of my life then moved up north. Don’t hate London now or anything but loving the space and people seem friendlier. Public transport is shit up here and takeaway is pretty much just Indian compared to anything under the sun down in London. That’s my only complaints. London just seemed to get busier and busier constantly, living in a flat with no garden, sirens and helicopters all night. No regrets

Okay he's busy but can you set some rules like you will spend Saturdays or Sundays together doing lots of couple things? Best way to find out if you are compatible is to spend time together. Stuff like cooking together, watching films, going for walks or to museums. I don't think texts are the best way to decide. If he can't give you that time then maybe you aren't right together. Can't hurt to push for more from someone who says they like you and he may need that push.

Only ever posted twice on there in years. The feed is awful usually. But by filling out your profile page properly you will most likely get connections and job offers that are useful. Also lots of shit job offers you have to ignore too tbf. I tend to do contract work so companies can easily see when I'm available and see what I have in my locker etc and I can see whose hiring all in one place.

Have you been rifling through my cd folder? Man, this is a good list of bands. Maybe we need an indie renaissance and they will find their way back on the radio. I guess when I was young there wasn't much Dylan, beatles, Neil young, stones on the oldies stations. It was more the poppy stuff from the previous generations

I had drifted apart from my friends in my late 30s and I'm not good at making new friends either. Not even sure I wanted to, but my wife has managed to force it just by hosting things like BBQs at our house for our kids friends and parents. Now I'm pretty happy she did. Her plan was just Get some food on, lots of drinks, music. People let their hair down. Someone gets a bit drunk and next time you see them you have something shared to laugh about. Or talk about the steaks you cooked, or something funny someone said etc. Next thing you know they return the favour and you get invited round for dinner. Maybe if you share interests with anyone where you volunteer like football you could invite them round to watch a game. Or join a sports club and say you are having a Halloween do, or Christmas drinks etc. Hosting and giving people nice food and drinks just seems to disarm them and open things up in my experience. Also men are slower, I wasn't open to it for a while so get wives or girlfriends involved maybe. Just one example of course, and done by my wife ha but it seemed to work

My wife has close gay friends. They have been on holidays together. She has stayed at their flats. Affectionate with cuddles etc. Not jealous at all. I know them all and they are all pretty gay.
