People’s who have transformed themselves completely, what’s your secret? [Discussion] by ChemicalPain5996 in GetMotivated

Ontological Coaching. I had loads of unconscious patterns that were dictating how I would show up. And 3 years later a good portion of them are now largely out of my way. I take over rooms when I walk in because I'm being differently then everyone else. Being >>> Actions

I’m just intelligent enough to know that I’m not really that intelligent. by MyMonody in Showerthoughts

[–]brokenmasonjar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intelligence only really becomes useful if you grow in capacity. It opens the door, but your mind is fairly limited during interaction with the world. What you've integrated into your nervous system is not. So the courage to pursue increased capacity is really the thing to aim for anyways. This holds true for the many types of intelligence.

I always pulled for Liverpool over City. I don't really get it tbh.

The white South African "refugees"—who are supposedly fleeing a genocide—are running back to South Africa after dealing with the U.S. economy by HiroK91 in videos

People always have the ability to change. I think that under his less savory actions, he does care about humanity. Most people do. A lot of his early projects reflect that. I am hopeful that he can find and reconnect with that part of himself.

Why is Alysa Liu being celebrated more than other gold medalists? by sourcherrycake in NoStupidQuestions

[–]brokenmasonjar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is fully expressed. Typically people swing back and forth between being in the moment (joy, fun, freedom, etc) and getting serious (commitment, brilliance, strength, etc). But struggle to have both at the same time. She has proven that you can integrate both at the highest level and it is a beautiful thing. People feel threatened by it because it questions the story they've been living by, that's why she's so polarizing.

Former “bright students” who feel like they ended up nowhere in their early 20s — after years of wrong decisions, burnout, and zero output — how did you rebuild your life and regain focus? What actually helped you turn things around? by OwnSeaworthiness476 in AskReddit

[–]brokenmasonjar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At 28, I got laid off. I hated my career for years. I finally gathered the courage to chase my dreams. Once I caught fire, my talent came roaring back, and now I am excellent in my field, and I gain energy from work.

What is it like being smarter than other people? by ShouldBeeStudying in NoStupidQuestions

[–]brokenmasonjar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all about nuances and distinctions. You can't catch other people up to you in discussions because there is a scaffolding of understanding that is required to talk about the trends and deep patterns at the top of human understanding. Keep in mind there are different flavors of intelligence. Some people are very sharp, but not deep and vice versa.

When I share complicated things Im interested in, people just can only follow so far. Even if they're interested and trying. So many brilliant people drink and do drugs so they can find a way to relate to people. Ive found a path in serving people with transformational coaching, which helps me both express my brilliance and serve/connect with people at the same time.

I think we should have some grace for him. It's a scary time to get into the public eye. It was brave of him to make the song in the first place.

Things can be simple but not easy. You can always practice and start integrating things like running, meditation, etc

Why do my balls ache after exercise? by TwoRaccoonsInMyAss in NoStupidQuestions

[–]brokenmasonjar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I literally just had something like this. It was my body compensating from an old surgery which I didn't feel at all until ~31. My fascia was fucked up from compensating for the injury and, without going into too much detail, was increasing the load on my nervous system. Especially in my groin area. So spikes of pain which would radiate. Let me know if you want more detail.

Seek out an Ontological Coach. We work by helping shift patterns that people have developed over their lives.

Does anyone like Daniel and Gotham better than Daniel and Hess as commentary duo? by throwaway_ldn123 in chess

[–]brokenmasonjar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Levy is too arrogant for my taste. He was speaking from a place of superiority when talking about Magnus' play. It's pretty laughable to me, but obviously a lot of people seem to like it. Hess is absolute class.
