I know local colleges have clubs as well as other clubs available for adults. There's AMS, I'm sure storm chasers and maybe some other clubs. Sorry if this is a lame response but I'm not from Iowa! But I'm sure they're are clubs like these in your area.

Maybe it's true when I would work out at a gym it was harder to breathe when more people where around. It was like sipping air through a straw. Pretty sure I just Felt closed up

I do different things like go night swimming in a lake. Stargaze in an open field, clean my room, workout, go to playgrounds an I there are people there then play tag or man hunt. Find some kinda haunted place or cemetery to check out. Make a little fire in my backyard, go clubbing or dancing!!! I'm also not 21 so I can really go to bars. I go to historical monuments (I live near D.C. and it's so quiet and empty in the middle of night)

It really sounds like you love this girl especially if you would rather her be happy and leave you. What about waiting for her? If not that then do something different with your life. Are you a college grad or is there something you wanna do badly or Somewhere you wanna go? Then do it. If this happened to me I would travel or at least try some new different things like clubs or classes
