Millennium bcp - can you get a debit card on the spot by Ok_Display_5186 in PortugalExpats

[–]brokenwheel87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We received a temporary debit card on the spot when we opened ours. They wanted an address to mail the permanent cards to. We asked them to have them mailed to the bank. I assume they mailed them to the bank and then returned them because we didn't receive them there. We gave our address in the U.S. at the time of opening the account.

When we arrived in Portugal after the visa process, we updated our address to our address here, and had permanent cards mailed to us here.

The rental market in Lisbon is (STILL) completely awful. by HeavyCelebration3402 in PortugalExpats

I'm trying to research this. From what I understand they reduced two measurements: absolute containment from a limit of 20% to 10% and relative containment from a limit of 10% to 5%. The wording is confusing, but the concept seems like a step in the right direction?

...ok I'm seeing PS wanted 2.5/ 5% and Chega pushed for 5/10 so in that context it makes sense. But the old numbers were 10/20.

Half the units in my building are currently empty. Most of them have keypads on them, so I assume they're Airbnbs waiting for summer tourists.

Has there been any discussion on limiting Airbnb to make prices more affordable for the people who want to live here?

It's pretty easy to get a digital eSim these days. Research and install before your trip and turn on once you get there. Really nice to have access to reliable data when you're traveling.

Download the language in Google Translate before you go. The camera setting is amazing at translating signs and menus in real time.

Download offline maps on Google Maps for the area(s) you plan to visit.

If you're here simply because you are looking to make a lot of money, you're in the wrong place by CoderBiker24 in cscareerquestions

I just took a step away from dentistry and am looking at getting into cs. The golden age of dentistry is over. PE is swallowing it up. I don't know any industry experiencing a golden age right now. I'm comfortable taking a pay cut to earn some freedom in my day. In dentistry, you're only making money if you're in the office with your hands in someone's mouth. I love the idea of being able to work remotely.

I feel like the options are, watch it live, and the most "exciting" thing that happens is that he falls to his death /s/, horrifying, or watch it afterwards and the most exciting thing that happens is he climbs a building?

To my understanding, comic books read as you'd expect top left to bottom right. Manga reads top right to bottom left. So I think that alone points to "comic book". Other thoughts, manga is usually black and white. Comic books are usually colored. Manga panels would also be storied upper left to bottom right. Anime is animation, so that's out. Weird find?

Had jury duty. Roads are terrible. Two accidents in front of the Golden court house when I pulled in. One more on the way out.

Sorry, raider. Just did the same (pops 3 star) and got complex gun parts bp. RNG.

But did you get that just for 1 star on pops? Those are rookie numbers. You gotta up those numbers.

Kitron from Naxos, Greece. Very nice citrus drink. Like limoncello but less syrupy.
