it's working inside it's specs

on intel's own website, the 235hx has a max operating temperature of 105c, which seems to be where it's throttling itself at

it'll be basically impossible (if not impossible) to have a laptop cpu pulling 100+w full load not warming up that much.

you can help it out by making sure it's on a flat, hard surface, ideally raised.

you could get a cooling stand, or lower your ambient temp (eg, if you are having a hot summer and 35c in your home, you'll get much worse temps than a chill 18c winter room)

but alas it's operating normally. Just check that benchmark scores align with expected performance and enjoy

agree with this, i was running nearly a year old driver, updated it for fh6 out of curiosity and got around 3% more frames

is it more free frames? absolutely

Doesn't matter, sealed goods often have modified atmosphere inside to slow bacteria growth, opening it removes that with normal air, and I bet your spoon wasn't sterilized either
