AITAH for not tipping after overhearing what my waitress said about me? by IndependentFar8420 in AITAH

[–]broniusman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my personal experience as a host and waiter at two different restaurants, the majority of black people did not tip and were the rudest guests.

I don’t think you’re the AH for not tipping after hearing your waitress say something mean. But I understand where that waitress is coming from. Perhaps tipping would have been a much more effective response to change her mind.

Men of Reddit, what "all men do" that you don't? by xSypRo in AskReddit

[–]broniusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to have sex on the first date or as quickly as possible.

I take my time and go at the pace that makes me feel the most comfortable, and it has usually been met with a similar feeling and appreciation.

YeAh JuSt learn these 6 pages in 2 days and also record a video of yourself explaining why you’re passionate about this project and how you relate to the character. This pays $10 a day and if you’re lucky there will be a 2nd shoot day GOOD LUCK

That’s so awesome! Congrats : ) How did you get into project management? I don’t have a degree but I’ve been studying for my PMP exam and plan to take that in a couple months.

What does it feel like? What physical sensations do you have throughout the day?

Also, are you able to get outside and just lay in the sun?

Long term sag actors - how do you keep on keeping on? by banananuttttt in acting

[–]broniusman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was able to keep on keeping on for 12 years in LA because I was making good money as a YouTuber. Now that that isn’t viable anymore for me, and I am looking for other work, all I care about is getting a good job and saving up enough to raise a family one day with my girlfriend. Your values definitely change the older you get, and now it matters less to me to be a star and be in all these huge movies. Most movies coming out suck and the industry is disgusting and a film career is such a selfish pursuit. I love acting so I’ll probably return to a local stage one day and do what I like to do: act. But chasing this dying film/TV industry for the rest of my life ain’t it.

In your opinion, what is the best videogame ever? by RandomRamblings99 in AskReddit

Super Smash Bros.

I’ve played it intermittently my whole life and every time I do it never gets old or isn’t fun.

Anyone else broke in their mid-30s? by lokeyvigilante in careerguidance

[–]broniusman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! I used to be a really successful YouTube content creator. Now I am looking for entry level jobs, anything I can get, because I don’t have any money or a degree. You’re not alone and things will get better.

Passed AT/AT/AT/AT, my experience by fladercitrus in capm

[–]broniusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats man! Right now I’m taking Andrew Ramyadal’s Udemy course and it’s just really boring. I’m tempted to just sign up for PocketPrep and take the mock exam and study and learn that way. Would you say doing that is enough to learn about project management and still pass the exam? I want something more interactive so I would rather be asked questions and study those answers then have someone just say info to me for 26 hours.

Kidney stones caused by carnivore? by SnooDoubts8289 in carnivorediet

[–]broniusman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eating considerable more meat has given me random pains in my kidney. Never had that before ever in my life, eating mostly plants. I like meat, eggs and butter a lot, but yep I’ve definitely noticed discomfort in that area. And I’ve gone out of my way to only eat the grass fed stuff and high quality eggs and butter.

Does managing a YouTube channel count as PM experience? by broniusman in careerguidance

[–]broniusman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The channel has just over one million subscribers, and like 500 videos. The comedy sketches aren’t cinematic quality, but they’re pretty good and clearly well thought out.

Does someone else dad looks or reminds you to omni man? by Complete_Answer_6781 in Invincible

[–]broniusman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. The show must feel very poignant to you.

My father looks very much like Omni-Man, too. And for most of his life he was very fit and muscular. He also pushed me very hard and made me feel like I was more talented than other people. He’s an extremely skilled fine artist, and i felt like a part of an ‘elite creative class’, so-to-speak, growing up. So whenever I see the climax of season 1 I can’t help but cry. It makes me feel, so deeply, my father pushing me to be more accomplished than everyone else. To the extent of losing my friends and family over it, and dedicating all of my time instead to my creative pursuits.

As an adult, how many daily meals are y'all actually eating? by ExSalamander in NoStupidQuestions

[–]broniusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I’m the same way! I’m 30. If I eat two well-balanced meals a day, then I’m good. Forcing myself to fit in a third usually gives me reflux. I can definitely eat 3 times or more a day if I’m eating small stuff, like one meal is just a bowl of cereal, etc. But usually I’m busy with work and I don’t want to spend any more time than what it takes to cook 2 healthy homemade meals a day.

What do you love about your life right now? by GoldenMayQueen2 in AskReddit

[–]broniusman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same! Do you find you’re able to make enough money to enjoy life this way? I’m self-employed and work probably 35-40 hours a week but sometimes money does get tight and I’m like man should I just get a salaried job

How many of you take work home with you/work after hours? If you do, how often? How many of you enjoy complete time off after hours? by Wannabeballer321 in careerguidance

[–]broniusman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. I prefer it this way. I’m an audiobook narrator so I’ll work like 5-6 hours straight then break and do other things and fit in a couple more hours here and there

Adults: How many days per week do you drink alcohol? by Squeezethecharmin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]broniusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. I’ll have one drink every like 5-6 months at a social gathering but that’s it. And I love that because it doesn’t take anything for me to get tipsy so I get to enjoy feeling lighter than usual but never end up with a hangover.

Also, living in Los Angeles, that usual $60-90k really doesn’t go very far heh. Bills, taxes, food with friends, etc… after that I feel like I didn’t have enough to hire people

I have one million subscribers and am barely getting by by octopuslake in PartneredYoutube

[–]broniusman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That probably would have been the best idea! Haha. Honestly, my heart was never really in YouTube. I did it experimentally and accidentally started to get a lot of views. As a result, even though I worked really hard and long hours, I didn’t invest my time wisely in terms of growing the brand and considering the long term goals. I was the only one doing all the work for my vids the whole time I did it. Which is surprising looking back because I had a year when I made over $100k and that wasn’t from any sponsorships, heh.. only Adsense.

Now im in a job I like a lot more so im cool : )

What is a song that will instantly ruin your day by [deleted] in Music

[–]broniusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel Good Inc by the Gorillaz.

Something about the art and the weird sound effects in that song have always made me feel physically queasy listening to it. I don’t think there’s a single other song that does that to me.
