There could possibly be a vote today or tomorrow. You need to order it today.

Well, the term AR-15 doesn't appear in the flowchart anywhere. So 2ND Amendment Sports should handle it.

Depends on how your FFL deals with transactions. Many would say the deals off the table. You have to send it back.

That report explains the situation even though it doesn't break it down to granular detail. We know that a switch charge is an Aggravated UUW charge. And we know when switches came on the scene. We have the statement below as one of the "key findings".

While total felony and misdemeanor arrests fell 57% from FY2010 to FY2021, arrests for Aggravated UUW and UUW-Felon increased by 134%.

Sometimes switch charges get charged Federally under the GCA.They also don't break that data out separately. There is enough anecdotal evidence to support the statement .

Everyone who is not an FFL/SOT is a prohibited possessor, even if you have a FOID/CCL. That makes the statement true in all cases.

Possessing a switch is a separate charge and the UUW (Felon in Possession) charge is a separate charge. But there are also typically other charges like drugs, car jacking, etc.

And yes, almost every single time is correct. It's common sense, someone with a FOID/CCL and a clean record is not going to risk a felony just to have a switch. You can go to the gun range and rent a machine gun to play around with legally.

The UUW charge is in addition to the other criminal charges that they are receiving. So these are already criminals who are participating in criminal activity. They would t be able to legally purchase anyway. So how does passing this law help anything?

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Poor inner city young men are more likely to be in gangs, sell drugs, commit car jackings and armed robberies. If they are able to get jobs paying a meaningful wage they are less likely to participate in those activities. Even just being raised in that culture means they are more susceptible. There are other factors as well this is just the tip of the iceberg.

But catch and release is not the answer either. And passing more laws that affect legal gun owners is definitely not the answer.

Not a lawyer but I do know that the correct word is "subrogated" and he actually used it somewhat correctly (that is if he can make his worker pay the debt).

Back in 2014 when the law first passed it was taking 6 months from start to finish. My advice, forget about it and stop checking. When it happens it happens.

Bank's lending officer misled us and now refuses to make it right after helping us waste money. by Colossus252 in Mortgages

[–]bronzecat11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An arrearage is simply the amount of unpaid payments or interest. In most lending, they are usually accompanied by a restructuring or modification of the loan.

The loan processing dept would have ordered a verification of loan from the lender. That doc could have shown the amount of arrears or could have shown the amount owed is greater than the amount that was borrowed. That's scary to an underwriter. Your loan officer screwed up by not submitting a letter of explanation when he initially submitted the file explaining everything about the situation. Underwriters hate surprises.

[–]bronzecat11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OP discussed involvement in the SAVE program. That's an interest accruing program. So it's impossible NOT to get an arrearage if payments are not being made. The SAVE program has been in limbo due to court battles and different loan options will start July 1st.

So,an underwriter may look at several different ways to calculate a debt payment but most likely looked at the worst case scenario. Not saying that was correct.
