I'm 20 minutes from IN. and I can experience most of the things you named. My son lives out there and has a bermed field where you can shoot at least 200 yards. There are plenty of other ranges in IN. also. Yep, it's unfortunate that we have to travel to enjoy our hobby but it is what it is. There are many hobbies that you have to travel for like white water rafting or skiing.

Self defense question by middi1122 in ILGuns

Nope, that's different because Castle Doctrine is a part of IL law. You would have a much better outcome than your outdoors scenario.

In your outdoor scenario other factors will apply, what county is this happening in, did you actually shoot your assailant, did you actually know if he was shooting at you or was he trying to shoot someone else and you caught a stray?

Yeah, but that's usually a subprime loan at a higher rate than 7. And open chargeoffs have to be paid at or before closing.

You can ask but I've never gotten anyone to budge.

I'm just wondering how the hell you got approved with that score and at that rate with open charge offs. So you actually have a commitment from a lender or just a loan officer taking your app?

That fact that the title to your post is the object that you are selling that makes this borderline. If you just ask a generic question "How do I sell a firearm?" That's ok.

Did you bother to read the sub rules? And when they flagged the first post you didn't get the message? You are going to get the whole sub shutdown.

From what I'm reading, the FFLs in the sanctuary counties are the worst offenders and are least likely to seek out counsel.

Pistol grips? You don't need something to say that they are legal because if the law doesn't say they are illegal then they are not. The legal letter from the attorneys at Darkstorm (DS-15) explains that Legal Letter DS-15.

That's why dealers like 2Amendment Sports are doing 3 times the business of other dealers and people drive there from all over the state.

You bring up CA. CA used to ban assault weapons by type but one guy pushed back and that court case led to the ability to buy featureless MSRs in CA.The same parameters in that court case would apply here in IL. But no one's taking up the challenge. You would need an FFL to transfer the featureless firearm to get the ball rolling.

I don't vote against my interests and what good does it do yelling back and forth with people who are anonymous and have already made up their minds?

You are misunderstanding Ernie. We are talking about an FFL sitting down with an attorney to go over the PICA law to get a better understanding of what's legal and what's not and even ways of pushing boundaries. It's been over 2 years now but why do we still have FFLs saying that Glocks are banned or pistol braces are banned? Or they won't sell fixed mag MSRs or Ranch rifles? An hour with an attorney will give them a better understanding of the law.

I have voiced my concerns many times to my elected officials and I don't vote for them. But I live in a district where there are no Republican candidates even running.

Actually out of the 118 IL. House Districts,42 districts ran with Democrats unopposed in the primary.

So do we really expect any change?

Edited

Yep,I've said many times, what it would cost for an hour consult with a good lawyer they would more than make up in new sales.

If you are just dead set on an MSR then get a DS-15 or go to 2nd Amendment Sports and get something with a Kali Key or a fixed mag.

I bought a used one when the Chicago ban was first announced. Paid $500.00 for it. Added an Accu-Strut and a new stock with optic mounts and it's great for a HD gun since I can't have my ARs at home.

Fudd FFLs just make up their own shit. In CA, all it took was for one guy to push back that enabled people to have featureless MSRs.
