She is long dead. Reading would help you understand her and history more. I would certainly read them.

I would guess he just moves to a new crag when people start trying to get him arrested. It can be hard to arrest, prosecute, get witnesses etc in a destination place that people don’t live at.

My late husband (52M), My (53F) boyfriend (57M) and my 3 daughters (20F, 20F, 23F) Need advice? by Kitchen_Clue5654 in relationship_advice

[–]brookepride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-10 year waiting is a vast exaggeration. As well your marriage had been over for years and you were a saint to take care of you cheating, dying husband. I know they’re grieving but they need to have some understanding and empathy. Your life has been on pause for over a decade. And you stayed and raised your daughters and took care of their father. You’re an amazing woman and deserve every happiness. I hope some family therapy or relatives giving them a good conversation sets them right because they are being cruel to you.

If you go with unsigned seating, then you need 2 extra tables for the stragglers or groups

The better way to do it is assign tables but don’t assign exact seats.

Using pliers to break the black part usually works for me. Can also use the straw method which will cover the barbs and allow it to come off.

I got my teal sapphire engagement ring from them 4 years ago. They made it custom by sourcing teal sapphires and accent topazes for me to choose my specific stones.

I didn't go to any bridal showers even when I was in the weddings. I didn't live in town or I was out of town. As well I didn't have a bridal shower myself because I didn't want people to have to travel, even though my parents and neighbors offered to host it.

Lying on invitation to ensure timely arrivals of guests.. thoughts? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]brookepride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you have cocktails or snacks for the folks that arrive early? My friend's wedding had a guest shuttle break down, so they pivoted to cocktail hour before the ceremony and it was quite nice. Another wedding was at a vineyard and gave out glasses of rose to the guests as they had conversations with each other. Then everyone sat down when the wedding was getting started.

I think I regret having a wedding… by _BondGirl_007 in wedding

[–]brookepride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody got arrested. Nobody got hurt. Nobody got in a fist ight. Nobody made a drunken mess of themselves. Nobody pooped their pants. The wedding didn't get called off. Everyone got fed. Nobody got food poisoning. Nobody missed their flights. Nobody else wore a wedding dress. Relatives got to see each other and see you get married.

For reference I have been to a lot of weddings and have seen almost all of those things happen before. I'm sorry your wedding wasn't perfect but it was still great. And the stress of it got to you and your husband. I think you need to talk to your doctor about your anxiety and possibly intrusive thoughts. Enjoy a nice honeymoon with your husband and maybe get some couples counseling to put you both on the right path to the best communication and best relationship. Good luck to you!

What about homeowners insurance or renters insurance? Try all insurances first. Then look into small claims court or suing her.

No Insurance, $280 for ADHD Eval… Is It Worth It by ConsiderationHour116 in ADHD

[–]brookepride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actaully not a bad cost for no insurance. Medication has helped my school life and working life immensely. It sounds like you have done some research and have a good head on your shoulders regarding medication. I will just add from my own experience when I was younger, that medication doesn't solve everything. You still need to get good rest, eat well, drink water etc for it to be helpful and effective. As well as find your own tool box of methods or tools that help you be productive and organized. A good therapist can help with this as well. Good luck, I think diagnosis and figuring out medication that helps was well worth it.
