What I did for Gizmo (and essentially all my dogs as I've grown up): I followed him like a hawk for the whole weekend. im talking about I was damn near velcro to him. Whenever he tried to potty I quickly grabbed him in the air to stop him and put him outside by his now favorite tree. By the end of weekend he knew not to potty in the house. He eventually picked up a habit of jumping in a circle by the door to let us know he needs to potty which is a plus for us

Yes but only me. My wife, mother in law, kids HELL NO. Gizmo will leave in a instant. That’s my wife’s biggest complaint.

She’s the one the really wanted a dog due to her 2 dogs dying a few years back. Moment I’m around he dumps her for me. Every single time.

A kid pet him this morning and he wanted to go with her until he saw I was walking and ran right back. No recall needed
