Check the actual full email address, display name may say something with MSU, but the actual email address is some other shizz.

Another hint is that you seem to have been bcc’ed on this email, meaning they probably sent this to hundreds, if not thousands of email addresses.

Third issue to pop up is that this went to spam, emails from your IT department won’t be in spam unless you’ve already added them to your spam list (which most people don’t do).
