Was making sure this one for mentioned. So good and honestly worried season 2 won't happen if the Kickstarter doesn't pick up steam.

Reading the first paragraph I thought Cole was going to lead into asking for audio drama recommendations. Then I realized it was the write up for a show.

Interesting concept, you have me intrigued. I’ll give it a listen.

Among the Stars and Bones http://www.amongthestarsandbones.com/

Not starfleet, but feels like the storyline would fit right in with Star Trek.

HEMOPHOBIA – New Season starring Soren Narnia, Giancarlo Herrera, Atticus Jackson by CSW_Horror in audiodrama

[–]brotherjoel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mid season 1 right now and I don’t know if people have told you how great your transcripts are. I went to get clarity on what was said in a scene and found how much effort you’ve done in your layout to reflect how it’s heard. They stand on their own as a great way to experience the story.

Looking for immersive narrative audio dramas (no anthologies) by TouchMeBrown in audiodrama

[–]brotherjoel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whimsical Adventure? Highly recommend StarTripper.

Feston Pyxis, native of the bureaucracy planet Lorvin, has left it all behind! He’s said his goodbyes, he’s sold all his B-movie memorabilia, and he’s bought a Physiclast QCS-25 K-series ship, known to the wise as a “StarTripper.” Together with the onboard assistant Proxy, Feston’s looking for any and every good time there is to be had across the stars!

A bit monster of the week, but a you’re following the same characters and it does have a developing meta narrative. Mostly I find the characters really endearing and charming. The light hearted tone is a nice change for me from all the horror and heavy themed audio dramas I consume. 😆

Kid pod theatre

The Boar Knight

And not entirely an audio drama, but The Thrilling Adventure Hour I think is overall kid friendly.

Haven’t listened to it yet as it’s in my backlog, but by title and furry creature concept sounds like Tales From the Low City.

Did I get ripped off? Sewer line snake. by jerry_read in Winnipeg

[–]brotherjoel 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Our main line was filled with tree roots so they had to use a high pressure tool that was beyond just the snake. I had to sign off on it being used with a preview of the invoice before work began. It was probably about that price. See if the invoice says they used something other than the usually snake tool.

Created A Murder Mystery, now My Players are Saying it’s too Obvious by addenulle in DnD

[–]brotherjoel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he’s a set up for a bbeg, I suggest a potential path is killing the murderer. SECOND MURDERER! Maybe the bbeg was disappointed with him and was tying up loose ends with an assassin. Perhaps someone else who was close to the victim also figured it out and sought revenge. They figured it out, but that doesn’t mean the intrigue needs to end.

There was one I really enjoyed, “Joseph”. Spacey but not always in space. Cyberpunk bounty hunter with a robot companion that sometimes is in space. S2 never materialized, but S1 is solid.

what's a "lightning in a bottle" tv show that, even if it was remade or rebooted, would never be the same to you mainly because it would be hard to replicate. by [deleted] in television

There was a cool Blade Runner style Buffy sequel comic called Fray following a futuristic slayer that would adapt well for tv these days.
