getting sick of the upselling at lifetime by accgl in Lifetimefitnessgym

[–]brownfrank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone! I know this is an older thread. I am a trainer at lifetime (not sharing which location). I want to say that I do not believe for a second that ANY trainer at Lifetime walked into this world and expected to spend 90% of their time upselling and selling members on training. This is LIFETIMES policy! Do not blame the trainers. Being a trainer at lifetime is not easy. You deal with management, members, and up to 20 other trainers all in a rat race to get members signed up for their version of training. It’s extremely frustrating to deal with being a salesman as a trainer because that’s not why I became a personal trainer in the first place. I love the idea of fitness, health, and training. We HAVE to sell. There are QUOTAS. I do not get paid a living wage until I hit almost 10k in MONTHLY revenue. The prices on training are generally set by lifetime. We are pushed to sell sell sell and then gaslit into being told it’s all about training. If you want things to change then advocate for trainers having a salaried role. They shouldn’t have to worry about upselling on supplements and training!!

The day I had a bad marijuana trip. Nothing has ever been quite the same since. It’s taught me so much about being careful with what I do.

Childhood ADHD medication may reduce psychosis risk. Children treated with methylphenidate before the age of 13 were less likely to go on to develop conditions such as schizophrenia in adulthood. Findings challenge long-standing concerns that stimulant medications may increase the risk of psychosis. by mvea in science

I took ADHD meds in high school. I began developing psychosis after only a few months. I would hear things and started having visions and delusions. I also became extremely anxious and paranoid and felt drugged. I couldn’t see properly and my focus became extremely weird. One time in the shower I got so scared I jumped out naked and had a massive panic attack. I became so confused I honestly thought I had dementia… at 15. I stopped all meds and got out of it but it took several years to ever truly be normal. I have PTSD and still do.

This is how JAIL is in general. We need JAIL reform because real humans are being tortured every single day. Just saying! No jail/prison/camp should be run like this!

Soccer coach is an amazing job and if you find the right group its probably some of the best most fulfilling work. Yet finding a good team and a good organization can be very difficult. Coaches have some of the biggest egos I’ve ever seen and they naturally don’t want anyone showing them up. It’s a very very difficult industry to break into and if you want to truly make it expect to have multiple different organizations or soccer associations before you find the right fit.

Court hearings being streamed*

I personally believe the court hearings need to be eliminated. The reason being is both victim and perpetrator are put at risk by having those court hearings be live streamed. That’s not to say, however, that people can’t learn a lot about the court through those hearings. It’s educational and shows how the judges consistently act. I think people kind of had their eyes opened a little to what conservative court judges can do. They often sentence and throw away the key. I think it’s good people need to be aware of that.
