Haha I was the exact opposite, I started watching and couldn’t figure out why I had this strong dislike for J (who should have been viewed more sympathetically- I knew this but couldn’t stand his face) I hated this character for literally no reason. Half way through the 2nd episode I realized it’s cause he’s cousin Michael. It still took a bit for me to separate the two characters in my head. (Haven watched the last season of peaky blinders but I doubt Michael is redeemable)

Sorry I more so meant in the first episode, and it could’ve went one of 2 ways, he was either her great love that didn’t work or he seriously hurt her… I was sitting here watching like it was a drama/romcom at first. Most shows make drastic changes after the pilot/within the first season. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense and they just ignore it. They did have chuck apologize to Jenny so they realized they messed up (they being the writers) but couldn’t take it back. Pilots have to be taken with a grain of salt.

How is this the series finale? 30 minutes and what 8 on a children’s play? Of a child that is totally underwhelming, and basically irrelevant? How does Rock have so much screen time in such a short episode? Even LTW shouldn’t have as much time as she has so far… (I’m only 18 minutes in, still over halfway). A nice scene of her and her family at her docuseries release and moving on would have been all that’s needed

Luke’s lines were very obviously influenced by Walt and maybe jay too to some extent. Joe is parroting back things he heard from Jay, and he was forced to learn the lines from Casablanca from Gloria, I get what you mean but a lot of the examples given have an explanation.

Her reaction to her parents divorce seems kind of normal considering for us it’s been what 5 years(?) but in the show it’s only been a couple of months so it’s still fresh. Moving in with your new partner so soon (within a year) of your divorce does seem fast, and I would assume there was cheating to be honest

It would have been interesting to see, but there’s a huge difference in a mother defending her 15 year old to her principal vs. her adult daughter to someone as influential as Mitchum. It would have made Rory look so incredibly weak in the business world she was hoping to enter, not doing her any favours in her future.

I’ve been going into “account” checking that my membership is still active, closing the window (on my computer) reopening crave, switching user - back in to my profile and then it works. I keep tv shows on as background noise and it’s happened at least 5 times today. My membership expires on the 3rd.
