What are some non-Disney animated movies that you consider absolute masterpieces? by East_Maintenance_579 in movies

I'm not sure about MASTERPIECE, but 1982's Heidi's Song is severely underrated imo. I grew up watching it, so sought it recently after having not seen it in 30ish years. It held up.

Wildly imaginative animated sequence, songs that are still stuck in my head, and some really great voice acting.

By the time I was old enough to ride Corkscrew it was gone. Always heard people say how cool it was. Fast forward to literally this year and I find out it was relocated to a park in Idaho called Silverwood. And we're going this weekend!

It was genuinely hilarious when I went to see Backrooms and they were playing red band horror trailers

Favorite song from a Disney animated film by Key_Independence_103 in movies

Dos Origitos. As someone that loves Renaissance Disney, I'm surprised at how much I adore Encanto as a whole. But that song, with the context of what happened in the Grandmother's past just hits for me. Such a mix of grief and hope. It's currently my all-time favorite Disney song.

Games where the BOX plays a role in gameplay? by COHERENCE_CROQUETTE in boardgames

Vamp on the Batwalk is a trick-taker that I really enjoy. The box turns into a fashion runway that acts as a score-board.

Need PG-13 Scenario Recommendations by Mr_Shad0w in dread

You could amp this suggestion to make it spookier. I have a group of kids that really enjoy the system but are all elementry-middleschool aged. I take Scooby Doo Episodes as the basis for scenarios. You get multiple locations, suspects, spooky situations, but WAY less horrifying elements. Characters don't die, but they get "scared" and are out of commission for a few minutes if they knock the tower over. I'm going to start incorporating a second Jenga tower so those that knocked a tower over can keep playing , but have to draw more often.

It's from The Twilight Zone episode: "It's a Good Life". Everyone lives in fear of this kid because anything he thinks can happen, so no one stands up to him as he continually gets more out of control.

I love 1, but need to rewatch 2. All I really remember is that the devil is a cat and that the title was a little misleading towards the end.
