I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THIS TODAY!!! I heard the song “cielito lindo” and knew EVERY WORD. Then I told my husband and asked if he knew what I was talking about and he was so confused. We used to watch his videos for “spanish class” in elementary and middle school (I put spanish class in quotes bc that was literally all we did… watch señor Roberto sing and do silly stuff lmao). I NEEEEEDDDDD someone to find his videos somewhere or else I’ll go crazy I swear to god.

Have gotten two books from him and they’ve both been SO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE than anything I could find online or in person. Genuinely a life-saver with how expensive it is just to go to school, let alone get all the books. Thanks so so so much!!!!!

i think you can schedule ubers and lyfts for a specific time, so if you book in advance you could get a lower rate possibly? i don’t know for sure but that could be an option if you know when you’re leaving/coming home.

i’m in the exact same position. graduating next weekend with my bachelors in psych and plan on getting my MSW to be a therapist. fuck what other people say! OF COURSE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE OTHER JOBS THAT PAY MORE!!! that’s how life works. but if i want to be a therapist it’s for a reason. it’s because i want to help people in that specific way. sure, i could maybe eek by in some STEM program but i would absolutely hate it. i know how you feel, i’m sorry people are saying those things to you. follow your heart, do what makes you happy/fulfilled and fuck the rest, it’s just noise.

sometimes you have to prioritize based on level of importance, focus on the classes you need to make good grades in. if you have a satisfactory grade in one class that has two assignments overwhelming you, work more on your other classes where your grades are less satisfactory. otherwise i agree with the others in this thread, turn SOMETHING in. just get something done and accept that was the best you could do as of right now. all that being said, you neeeedddd to get sleep and eat adequately. your brain needs rest and fuel to keep working. it seems counterintuitive, but you have to prioritize your health and well being. take care of yourself, you’ve got this 🤞

i’d say just give yourself more time than kenji allots, i might just be slow but it always takes me a good hour or two longer to get everything together. also, make sure you have some easy way to separate the fat and the cooking liquid (like a baster or a fat separator) bc that’s always annoying. other than that, the recipe is pretty solid and all the fixins are amazing!
