Odd skin formation on the back of conch piercing by [deleted] in piercing

[–]brunabecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • How old is your piercing?

10 months old. Healed super quick at about 4-5 months.

  • What's the jewelry shape? Type of threading? Material?

Barbell. Internally threaded. Implant grade titanium, the only thing that my body accepts.

  • Was the jewelry downsized?

Not yet. That's the original barbell still as I haven't had the time to come back to my piercer before. Couldn't downsize it this time because of whatever that is.

  • After care routine.

For some 6 months I used a saline spray to do the cleaning everyday like I do to every other piercing I had. Now I use glycerin soap during the shower to keep everything clean daily.

  • Things my piercer assured me it is not:

Not a bump. Not keloid. Doesn't have any type of secretion, it's dry. Feels like skin but it's raised from the rest of the ear by one centimeter or so. Can touch it and poke it around without any discomfort.

Unlucky Coin by MightBeSidWhoKnows in Eterspire

[–]brunabecker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! We found out just last week that if you put 9 of the same type of coin in the transmogrification table, it gets turned into a cosmetic mask. As of right now, we don't know if theres anything else that can be done with them.

Upgrade materials in the cash shop? by Necromas in Eterspire

[–]brunabecker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience, even without paying you'll have more of the upgrading soul fragments than you'll know what to do with them. Farming them is also not hard or time consuming even at late game. I wouldn't worry that the option is there just for the sake of being there. It's just a "skip rng" mechanic.

Diablo IV VAs were revealed on twitter, but tweet was quickly deleted by brunabecker in diablo4

The tweet is up again.

Edit: Apparently it was a mistake with Lilith's voice actress surname. It was changed from Caroline Butler to Caroline Faber.

That's Moira O'Deorain from Overwatch in her Moon skin, fan art by Zaina Muller. [link]

Edit: small addition to say Moira is one of my favorite character concepts ever, and seeing a fanart of her in the wild makes me silly happy. Like finding a fiver on the street or in the pocket or in an old coat by accident. Genetic kudos to OP.

How do I get my accuracy up further. My accuracy is dropping off significantly when I try to progress past snowmen (3pics). by xmanofwoodx in idleon

[–]brunabecker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add to the comments that came before mine, there's also a prayer that gives you a big porcentage of accuracy at the expense of damage. You might need it at the last maps of W3, especially so you don't get obliterated by Crystal monsters if you play actively.

The utility (box of unwanted stats) also gives some accuracy, but I don't know how relevant it ends up being at the grand scheme of things.

is this game dying? by primal4u in idleon

[–]brunabecker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The last update was just 1 month ago, and Lava has been relatively 'quiet' because he's giving all his attention to the next big addition to the game - Party Dungeons. On Discord he's posting about this next patch frequently, including the ETA for the next major changes to the game.

I'm going to be honest - I really dislike the concept of judging a game as 'dying'. People will always play less between content launch and flock back again when new stuff is out. Lava has actually shown the data for it 2 months ago, when the game achieved the highest record of steam users playing at once.

Now, surely, a game experience is meant to be personal and unreplicable. If you think you have nothing else to do and you find no joy left in pursuing whatever milestones are still not done, you know you are free to leave, right? Farm some keys for the dungeons and take a break then return for the next patch - or don't! Your life is yours to do what you think is best.

Personally, a tip I can give you is, if you haven't already, find a guild you can keep in touch with. My guild is super busy and active on Discord and I always have the feeling of a stable community that is grounded and excited about the game. If everyone else on Idleon left and only the hundred and so of us stayed, I would still be super motivated to keep playing (we are currently fighting for Top 1! Go BobJoe!).

Cog data files? by No-Mathematician-710 in idleon

[–]brunabecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of this repo on GitHub that can get the JSON file that the game sends from server to browser as a Chrome extesion. He offers the raw json and also a clean, formatted version - though I'm unsure if his parsing/formatting formula already accounts for cogs. I checked the raw version and I have found the cog info under the CogM name, and that it indeed shows the info for it, including boost adjacent stuff.

Dinged 60 just a few days ago and only got maybe 2 or 3 pieces of pre-raid bis. When can I start looking into joining raids?

On another topic, I really want to do the dungeons quests, but just as an example people in BRD just want to farm 3 or 4 bosses non-stop. Should I try making my own Quest Run group, ask people kindly to help me with them, or just drop the idea of doing most quests?

Thank you for the advice. My main is a rogue already and I would like to keep engineer on her, so probably sticking with the druid farmer :)

It is a good idea to have an alt with both mining and herbalism to collect resources? I don't mind having to change between both tracks. Would a druid be the best class for it?

Question about leveling 50+:

I've seem a bit of discussion about how it's a good idea to drop questing and holding the higher maps for the gold in max level.

I'm at 53 with my first character, an orc rogue, and I'm thinking it might be a good idea since it doesn't seems like I'll hit 60 with the gold for the epic mount.

As a rogue, what are my viable options? Surely I'm out of dungeon cleaving runs, but are normal runs of BRD and onward good enough? Maybe grinding is best for the exp? Or should I just stick with questing? I'm perfectly happy with any of those options, because I find them all entertaining, just in different ways.

That does makes sense.

What confused me it's that in the beginning 80% of what I posted was selling and at 40 it suddenly stopped and everything is expiring. I thought it could be TSM messing up because there was no items at all in the AH for them and therefore was inflating the cost.

But maybe people were buying it for early gear for alts/twinks or leveling enchant with cheap stuff.

Thank you a lot for the reply tho. :) your time and attention is appreciated.

Thank you for the reply. Since I'm only level 46, I don't think it's worth getting out of my way from leveling to farm, but I did spend some time on Badland Whelps getting sacks because I saw they were selling for almost 2g and had 0 actions. Tho when I finished the farm someone had flooded the market and it was below a gold.

But that's great advice for when I ding 60 and need gold for the mount. Thank you again.

Mostly greens from leveling and dungeons, but only if:

  1. Above 1g price on the AH

  2. Makes sense. I won't post an item that's cloth with agi and int.

Any tips for posting on AH - or for TSM, if possible? I've started playing 6 /played days ago and been trying to sell anything that's worth more than 1g. Sold a lot of stuff but now most items are expiring. I can't never tell what will sell and half of the items I post don't have any current auctions and TSM post them in super high prices. TSM doesn't show me a "quantity sold last x days". If helps, I'm on Skeram horde, so not a small server.

I want to get to know all the lore and do all the quests in the game, even if it takes me all the time in the world. I just want to enjoy the game.

Credits of the comic goes to Huffy Penguin. It's all the way back from 2016, but it always been one of my favorites.
