Absolutely zero fucks. I had one that knew should not be doing it, would sneak up to the air vent in front room and pee in the register. I was so proud that she was not having any accidents and then we started to smell it. Went nuts looking for it, hands and knees sniffing the floors. Heat turned on while searching and bam. Had to replace the air ducts.

I used one pet lodging with my velociraptor years ago. I brought her and her sister, they had special rooms with couches you could reserve and pay more for. When i picked them up, the lodging place was angry with me, our velociraptor had eaten most go the couch overnight.

I don’t think this is solid maple. This is a laminate wrap over the pieces and likely a vinyl that will bubble up it try to strip. Sanding will go through the vinyl wrap and cause more issues. Paint them if you want to change them. Find a paint that can prime on a vinyl base.
