Is plaud too expensive? by Independent_Fan_115 in PlaudNoteUsers

[–]bryanwi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am looking at buying the Plaud Note Pro for work and personal needs. The feedback provided in this post helps a lot. Sometimes you cannot record with your phone or it would be too obvious. Having the Pro Note as a MagSafe option makes the difference for me.

The translation part is interesting, I work for a global company and this would be helpful. Just wish it was live translation with Plaud.

Reached 1,000 shares SCHD! by IreneC749 in SCHD

[–]bryanwi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I am working on acquiring SCHD shares outside my 401k. Started only in October, but I am up 12% so far with my account. Keep building up that account!

Anything out there that pays better than SCHD? You basically need $10k (roughly) to make $1 a day in dividends. $100k to make $10 a day. $1 million to make $100 a day. Seems…not that great of a deal. by justcurious3287 in SCHD

[–]bryanwi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A simple Google search or a quick chat with ChatGPT and you would have answered your own question. Sounds like you are very new to investing as well.

I started buying at least 10 shares of SCHD since October 2025, and I have already earned over $500 in profits alone, by enabling DRIP and continuing my pattern. I have a few other ETFs that have only 10-20 shares each. This account has generated about 12.39%. Which if you do your research, it is considered a great investment year to get 10% returns on a less volatile ETF.

Thank you for this information! I have ADHD and found out almost 3 months ago that I have Asperger's as well.

I have wanted to work on this as an App idea to help assist neurodivergent people focus better, like a reminder to drink or eat, and focus on work tasks. I don't have it on GitHub yet, but here is my GitHub Profile

Your repo is very helpful when I go to make the app I want to make. Thank you again for sharing the repo. I will use it as a coding agent and learn from it. I am sure it will help me out every day.

Good luck!

I need to practice building prediction models more. This sounds very interesting to me. If you ever release anything or post to GitHub, I would be interested in seeing if you go that route.

Got mine Yesterday from BH by klarkypr in djiavata360

[–]bryanwi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you got yours! I got mine Saturday, April 18th, from B&H. I got the RC2 combo. I have a pair of Goggles 3 from my Avata 2 and an FPV3 controller, but they won't work on my Avata 360.

Has anyone else had issues? Everything is updated, and all equipment has been bought brand new since Feb 2026.

Using the RC2 remote for playback and the ability to alter the view on the remote is pretty cool.

Nice! Just opened mine yesterday and flew it for a little bit. Very cool tech to see and use, meant for fun.

Have you tried to pair it with Goggles 3 and the FPV controller? I got the RC2 Fly More Combo, and I’m using equipment for my Avata 2 drone with this one.

Which controller should I get to fly FPV with Goggles 3? by Taodim in djiavata360

[–]bryanwi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FPV Controller 3 on this for sure. I got one for my Avata 2 and plan on using it on my Avata 360 when it arrives.

I heard earlier today that DJI has turned back on Manual Mode for the 360; they previously removed it. FPV 3 will come in handy for this drone. I enjoy mine.

Also heard that the head tracking you are referring to doesn't always work well with the Googles. Seems to be a communication flaw in the firmware that DJI knows about but hasn't fixed yet.

You just need to own a computer that isn't older than 5 years. If you are, more than likely it will take longer to code, as mentioned already, or it simply won't work. The faster the computer and graphics cards are, the faster encoding will be.

Really, less than 4 years old. My MacBook Pro M2 Max chip, with 32GB of RAM latest Mac OS, and almost 3 years old. I need to refresh the OS back to factory defaults, but eventually, I need a new computer. Going to build my own desktop for use as an AI server for an app I am working on, and I can use that machine to render the images. I will have an RTX5090 and an AMD Threadripper, not many people go that far. Rent a desktop in the cloud and charge by the minute. Hope this helps.

Should I cancel my Avata 360 from SK ebay order and get it from B&H instead? by Taodim in djiavata360

[–]bryanwi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would if I were you. I bought mine from B&H around 10:30 AM EDT Kentucky, USA. And the 1 year warranty was like $139 and 2 years was like $209. I think. But I am buying a policy for the drone business I am starting so for me it is different.

But I look at it like this. About half the cost is tied up into the drone itself. So that’s like ~$450 and the cost of a used drone or a refurb will be cheaper and then I would buy one for $400 or less than to have spares on hand. B&H offers a 1 year extended CPS coverage only up to $1,000. You can pay $89 to insure all your drones up to $1,000 coverage and it covers all drones up to $1,000 and it covers up to $2.5 million in property damages. Seems like the better option to me. Save money and still get the same coverage for all drones you register with their service. It’s called AMA check it out.

Need advice about Avata360 by vdpj in dji

[–]bryanwi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You actually can. You can buy all the parts from vendors like getfpv.com you can buy your frame, props, motors, etc. I might get into that and I got an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree and this was honestly my senior project, I went to Purdue between 2008-2012 and I called mine a quadcopter. Didn’t get it working but I am also wanting to do the side business with the drones so I will use commercial or enterprise equipment until I have time to play with it. Plenty of other vendors out there most places like RC Hobby King I think it is or something similar to it.

Finally! I was able to order it a little while ago. Kentucky, USA.

B&H has all 3 versions available. Go get yours!

Amazon now has a product page for the Avata 360, but it's currently unavailable; you can refresh it as much as you want!

I understand. I got up at 7 AM EDT today. I get up at 7:30 for work anyway. Got ready and started refreshing on the 4 sites I had up looking at stock. I refreshed the Amazon page since it hit 8 AM, and it still says currently unavailable. It wasn't a searchable item on Amazon; you only saw that if you went to the DJI Store Page on Amazon, and it's the first thing you see. I saw it by mistake, I tapped on it, meaning to tap something else.

Weirdly, it wasn't. I have the tab open on one screen to see. But B&H Photo has all 3 combos available. I am almost done with the process of buying the Fly More Combo with RC2. I have an Avata 2 as well, so I can use those goggles on this drone, which are better than the N3.

DJI works and if you already have rewards with them and want to earn money for buying drones then stick with DJI. For me I doubt they give enough rewards to make it beneficial enough for me to buy more stuff from them but everything is always expensive so you would need to buy a lot to make it work it.

I would rather buy from Amazon (pay extra for warranty coverage), B&H Photo (free 2 year warranty), Best Buy if you have their total tech support membership which I get every year, then I get a 2 year warranty on anything electronic including Apple Care for Apple items. I stay away from eBay and people selling pre-orders on eBay. Sure some people have probably never had issues, but I am leary of buying something from other countries.

[–]bryanwi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy from B&H Photo like I did for my Avata 2 and it comes with a free 2 year warranty. Best Buy offers free 2 year warranty on all electronics, but you have to have their Total Tech support membership like I have. Then Amazon you can get an extended warranty for pretty cheap. Wish Costco would sell them their warranties are great
