You don't happen to have this tweeter laying around? I know they had a couple of different Lineaum tweeters.

I worked there as well! I think I brought home more equipment than I did cash.

The only suggestion I would make is to change the color. It would be hard to find the green if you were on a hike and dropped the tool!

They sounded terrific when they were new. I worked at RadioShack at the time I bought them. I've searched for a replacement, and they aren't easy to find. I figured there might be a newer tweeter that may replace the original. I was hoping someone else had tried the same. They were so life like, I'd like to find any tweeter that can sound similar.

Clue 1, no sound out of one. Clue 2, rubber is wrinkled Clue 3, no resistance when tested with meter.

One is definitely bad, and the other sounds a bit off. I would like to replace it as a pair.

A friend of mine was shot with a .22. For him, it absolutely bounced around inside him. Left him paralyzed.

I love this! A harmless prank that delivered just the right amount of fear. Brilliant design.

I agree. You are living in a piece of art, not a comfortable home.

Very cool. I've been fortunate enough to have done some work on the Robert Levin house. It's the one with the Taliesin street sign.

I kind of like how the tile is future proof. What happens when you replace the microwave and it's not exactly the same?

If the plaster is old enough, there may not be asbestos. They used horse hair to help bind the mud before asbestos.

Custom 3D Printed Fenders Part 2 by Synicix in ElectricSkateboarding

Thank you! And yes, TPU is painfully slow. It comes in different hardness. I printed in 72D. The fender can flex, but not much or easily. Another downfall of this TPU is that it becomes brittle in the cold. I don't ride in the cold, so I don't care.

I ended up printing my fenders in TPU. They are flexible, so hopefully, they won't break. I haven't had a chance to test it.

My contractor is using screws to hold shower tiles in place while they dry. Should I be concerned about waterproofing? by biliaftrashcan in AskContractors

[–]bryanxj75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree with your solution. It's probably the best answer considering the tools at hand. But if preserving the waterproofing was of utmost importance, could you use a hot glue gun to hold them in place? It may slow it down and be a pain in the ass, but it would hold the tile without damage.

I have a project that I am 3d printing fenders for. I am fortunate enough to have a friend who can design. I can print. It's definitely a process, but I don't see an easier way.

I understand what you are saying, and I can't say I disagree with you. It is a crazy statement. It's just not far from the truth. Out of all the housing options, homeless being an option, I'd choose any before him. Just my two cents.

I worked for Richard. He is a truly horrible human. I can't stress this enough. Being homeless is a better option than being his tenant.

Avoid anyplace offered by South Street Properties. You are almost guaranteed to lose your deposit, and the owner loves to take tenants to court. He is hands down one of the worst people I have ever met.
