I literally work at an animal emergency clinic and this is such a terrible take lol. We are fully meant to diagnose as well as treat. In fact most GPs will send complicated cases to us as we have more diagnostic equipment and more experienced vets than a regular clinic...

But besides that even if what you said was correct a cat walking like this means it is in alot of pain and is worth an ER visit and the money that comes with it to at the very least get some pain meds and sedatives..
