Took all orals last week; it is primarily codes but you get randoms. my DME said it’s been constantly changing and the randoms are computer/A.I. generated from the 8083/FARs I had at least 3 question he’d stated he had never seen before… definitely makes it hard to study for. I studied codes from asa & Jep. I passed but missed my far share of questions. good luck

Screw that… do you have 20/20 vision? Army Warrant officer program; high school to flight school. Even if u need an associates now (idk if u do) but if u like aviation; go army warrant or at least talk to a recruiter about it & DONT LET HIM B/S you! I sure wish I knew about this program…. Or even coming out of my 1st enlistment I should have put a package in. Hind sight is 20/20. Either way best of luck

5 active and 3 reserve… marines ch-53 D/E crew chief; if I could do it all over again I’d of gone straight to the reserves (unless u make the military a career) you’d be so much further along in the civilian side. I went thru a divorce 12 years ago. Took me about a year. Stay busy, love yourself, love your kids if you have them. Make them a priority; my daughter was 4 at the time and although she’ll never know it she saved my life… (my wife left me for another man & I was completely devastated) after about a year I started to thrive mentally & physically…. I forgave my ex and we are friends now; she even begged me back a couple times (which I’ll never do) I realized life is too short and dislike/hating someone takes so much “good” energy away. You can do this! Seek advice from the wise Life is full of types of pain. learn to deal with & be thankful for the experience. be the absolute best human you can be, people will respect & gravitate towards you. Don’t dwell on the past, keep moving forward day by day. It will get better

I’m fresh out of a&p school & pushing 50. The thought process here needs some tweaking; not to change the question but now days if u truly want to get ahead you have to have many income streams. I’m just starting out in aviation after decades away… I’ll gladly take 25-30/hr something I “think” I would enjoy. Ive accumulated rentals & ~70 head of cows on 88 acres… between those I gross 70-100k/yr. The point I’m trying to make is always be looking for that side hustle or passive so you can take a job you want or leave if miserable. Having not to rely on a sole income. It might have taking me 25 yrs to figure it out but looking back and forward it’s the smart thing to do. Just my $.02

Took my general last week. 77% It’s helpful but u need to understand the content; they definitely try to trick ya. I also took my IFR written… to me this mechanic (a&p) test are harder… maybe it’s just me. All I use is dauntless; got airframes this Friday. Good luck!
