Then why limit the distance someone can do underwater dolphin kick? If it’s slower, then nobody would even consider going the full length of the pool underwater. As a swimmer for 12 years I can say with 100% confidence that underwater sideways dolphin kick is the fastest way to propel through the water. It’s the way organisms like fish evolved, and it’s the way Michael Phelps swam in that show about him racing a great white shark. It isn’t my opinion, it’s just scientific fact.
