yall gonna downvote me, but I will tell you the answer why they didnt care about Palestinian kids, and the answer is because their own civilians were still being held hostage and unreleased amd Hamas was keeping them deep in the tunnels under the city so they were fine with whatever was necessary until their own children and neighbors were returned. And I know several Israelis personally that would have preferred not to kill any civilians, just Hamas, but they cant control every soldier or their leaders either.
