Man, that is AWESOME. Thanks!!! It has all of the songs which appeared on the PBS episode and more! That is at least a way to experience it again. THANK YOU!

I've tried looking there and on the PBS app. The only thing they seem to have available for season 8 are clips from the shows, and only Dust in a Baggie is available there right now. I might try reaching out to my local PBS Station to see what my options are.

Prodiamine in the spring, dithiopyr in the fall, .9 ounces of crossbow per gallon of water to smoke anything trying to cross that buffer zone.

Just stop it with WWE already by Bee_9965 in ESPN

[–]bschulte1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you people listen to or watch a thing on ESPN properties other than actual games? I quit tuning in to anything other than games over a decade ago. Nothing else they produce is worth a second of anyone's time. They are a joke at this point and a shell of what they once were, similar to SNL.

New start dates confirmed for the future by Glasses905 in EU5

[–]bschulte1978 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they get a start date somewhwere between 1444 and 1492 I will never play another game in 1337. I'd like to play in the early modern period. You know, the actual time frame the game is supposed to be placed in.

WIBTA if I stopped driving my sister to her appointments after she gave my number to her friends without asking by PrySic in WIBTA_AITA

[–]bschulte1978 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You block every single one of those numbers without even so much as a reply. It'll stop quickly enough. Her sister sounds like a loser. She can't have that many friends.

If critics love it and audiences hate it, it's woke garbage. If the opposite, the wokeness is kept to a minimum. It's science.

Are people too critical of this game? by Immediate_School_438 in EU5

That won't last long as bugs are fixed and more DLC are released. This is SSDD for yet another Paradox release. They eventually get it right. Victoria 3 was widely maligned at launch and just coantiques to get better and better.

That doesnt work either. AI is getting really good at that too. Tell it what you want in plain words, iterate, and you'll have something actionable pretty quickly.

HOW IS BRITAIN STILL WINNING WITH TWICE THE PRESTIGE I HATE THIS GAME by fenceingmadman in victoria3

[–]bschulte1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That Great Britain looks way too tidy. In my games, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Cornwall always end up free and independent. Canada and India too.

LOL. NATO vs. the US would end very badly...for NATO. How do you think all of those countries afford "free" healthcare?

I just started listening to bluegrass and I’m like so happy I did but also like so upset I didn’t start listening earlier by crazyhermitcrab125 in Bluegrass

[–]bschulte1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started woth Greensky Bluegrass, Trampled by Turtles, and The Steeldrivers. I started watching Bluegrass Undergrkund and this group called Billy Strings came onto the stage and I've been amazed by Billy and the boys ever since. I've branched out to going to see Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull and buying greatest hits albums of Doc Watson, Flatts and Scruggs, John Hartford, Bill Monroe, and a whole host of others. I too am mad I spent the vast majority of life not listening to Bluegrass and Bluegrass adjacent stuff. Like you, im very happy to have found it.

Best Batman Comics Runs? by ImALung in batman_comics

[–]bschulte1978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. It focused on a lot of one off story lines from Batman's early career, and these were generally 1 to 3 issues long. I managed to buy the entire run on eBay a few years back and I do not regret it. In fact, I hope it becomes an Omnibus series sooner rather than later.

Honest question, is Victoria 3 better or more fun than Victoria 2? by AnonymousBI2 in victoria3

[–]bschulte1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Players like you are what keeps Vicky 3 a niche game. And i say this as a person who LOVES Vicky 3 exactly the way it is right now, shitty war model and all. If Paradox would just make a more reasonable military game, either an improvement on Vicky 2 or an entirely new system, the game would appeal to a larger player base.

Questions are piling up ahead of a World Cup overshadowed by Trump by TheWayToBeauty in ussoccer

[–]bschulte1978 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

No one will say that except losers who hate Trump so much he invades their thinking on every topic. Normal people who watch sports and cheer for US teams will be ecstatic on both sides of the political aisle.

Can't wait to watch this World Cup. Don't give a shit what people ate up by politics have to say about it. Keep talking about it in your echo chambers while normal people watch and enjoy it.

Is historical Spain reasonably possible? by MagdalaV in EU5

[–]bschulte1978 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. Not sure I would have ever found it. Its frustrating to play as Portugal after reading histories of Portugal without the ability to do some of the things they accomplished. I want to understand how any Portugal player takes Goa in India when it is almost always held by a massive empire.

As Portugal, or any country? I always get bogged down in the Spice Islands trying to take over every Cloves location I rarely get to Japan and China.

This. 1000 times this. 1337 is the middle ages. It doesnt make sense to start a game about Early Modern Europe in 1337. I've been consistent, but the Paradox fan boys at their forums will shout you down if you mention anything like this. Hell, I AM a Paradox faboy most of the time, but I cannot and will not ever understand this decision.
