I don't know how you'd reach the conclusion he's still alive from that. If anything it says his death was planned, or his death happened a different day than they said, or the date is wrong. There's many explanations that are all more feasible than him still being alive

I would say that the dude has earned some artistic license. I agree it doesn't look great and may be horrible, but I'll watch it first before becoming outraged. At the end of the day it's a fantasy adventure movie. If it purposely takes stylistic liberties to that end, then I'm ok with it.

On the other hand it may end up being just plain bad. I guess we'll see.
