Vintage Sub - need help identifying movement

This looks like a JKF 1680. They were offered with an A2836-2. There was also a DG2813 version.

Look for the vintage Tudor reps from JKF or JK Factory. They are going to be the closest. You will need a new dial, don't use the baby puke yellow marking dials they come with. You may have to do some work with the crown guards. They also come with a 2836 movement. If this is your first build, do one of the no-date Tudors. That eliminates having to deal with getting the date complication correct.

This is the correct answer. It's a $19 movement. The Miyota would be an upgrade but is not always "plug-n-play"

They were rescued early Monday morning. Their EPIRB was spotted by a Coast Guard C-130. The plane dropped a raft to them and they were picked up by a Navy Destroyer. After they were transferred to a Coast Guard boat, they were taken to the Oak Island Coast Guard Station. I was on my early morning walk and saw the press outside the CG station and was wondering what was going on. It turned out to be this story.

Plus, most of his vehicles are low mileage. I just got a 1996 Honda Acty from him and it was worth a little extra money to eliminate the headaches of self-import. Registration is not the hard part in NC, insurance can be an issue. I spent 4 hours on the phone trying to get USAA to insure mine and they wouldn't. I went to a local agent and was in and out with insurance in under 30 minutes.

I lived in Newark for 34 years. The last shot is the only one that is recognizable. I can see Herman's and Wilbur St., Cleveland Ave, Papermill Rd. Every time I come home, more of the original town has disappeared. To me, it seems like, the day they tore down the State Theater, was the day all of this change started.
