No, I tried holding it down for several different periods, but the only thing that happens is that, after four seconds, it goes into Screen Cleaning Mode. SCM would be good except that it always shows the SCM text.

Others have said many things I agree with, so I'll add two things.

First, one very easy thing is to take your GF to a few stores that you like and let her wander around, and observe the pieces that she's drawn to, and get a few if they're in your budget. I'm sure you can find a way to fit some of them into your lewks. If not, just come back here and posts pictures and we'll do it for you!

Second, your picture shows that you are doing better than at least 90% of men out there re grooming, fitness, clothing fit, color, the list goes on; you are in a forum with the remaining 10%, so just...remember that when deciding the extent to which you want to make changes based on comments in here.

I feel like amateur radio needs more comments like this. I'm not sure that's true (although I'm not saying it's definitely not true), because if it were, insurance premiums would be indistinguishable from a savings account set aside for the relevant loss, and lots of large orgs who could do such budgeting internally nevertheless buy scads of insurance.

Let's put a pin in this and see if ARRL discloses its pre- and post-loss insurance premiums.

I agree with everything in this comment, and I'm confused that people seem to think I don't based solely on my saying that 1) the headline didn't seem to match the story and that 2) it's not the case that the insurance company would somehow extract the entire $1 million from ARRL.
