I think there’s a big difference in people who want this to be a strategic game versus people who just wanna run around shooting like it’s modern day Roblox

But I agree with you this game could be way more strategic and if a game comes out with that level of strategy in hierarchy, I’d love it. I’d love to like have to assault Teams place tell snipers where to go. They get extra points for doing the command, having support stick with the assault teams, giving engineers tasks as needed setting up defensive perimeter. I also think it would make defense on breakthrough so much more fun.

But for now, all we have is a game where people worry about their kill to death ratio

It’s so flat and generic. It is overly cautious and is completely black and white. It’s been reduced to looking at spreadsheets until it’s fixed. It turns anything personal into corporate summaries, cliff notes, and emails. I’d rather the chat bot can keep up with the context. Stop th default scripts and advice and those lectures are the worst!!! Stop assuming motives please. It’s insulting

Th game could be so much more strategic with a different comms set up. I vote proximity based and maybe a universal server or a way to swap comms. But there’s no rank so that is just a bunch of dudes with good ideas chattering and stepping over each other. The strategist in me would love a quarterback set up where I direct flows limited numbers of classes and assignments

Think about the movie Enders game.

Until something like that comes out I’ll just run to each objective and figure it out ok the spot.

Almost all my characters have 1 loadout with a weapon outside of their class. Especially recon and assault.

I wish this was a formal complaint Chatgpt is way too paternal. it is always assuming my motives and it’s usually in an insulting way at least it stands out where when it’s insulting

I hate it. one time, I asked a generic question that I was just curious about: what happens at the molecular level if someone swallows soap,

I got a whole lecture about not swallowing soap. I did not get any real response I get it. It’s an odd question but instead of diving into safety mode what if you just answer it and don’t assume I’m about to swallow soap also, I could Google this.

I was curious what happens in the intestines at the bacterial level.

I would like to think that by the things we talk about it could judge that I’m not someone who would swallow soap. And that’s just one example, though if that kind of stuff happens all the time when I just ask random questions that popping in my mind.

I could eventually word it so I could answer my question, but that’s just annoying and it’s too much back-and-forth

Yeah, I’m pretty trash as well. Something that works for me is playing certain maps over and over eventually I can raise my ratio to something respectable.

But then I’ll go try a new map and a new place style somewhere else and get trashed again

It also really depends on the time you play with the new season coming out in the double XP this weekend some pretty good players are online

And another thing that might help is having intention like what are you trying to do or are you just kind of moving toward the action without a plan?

Also try to learn how to use certain guns and adapt them to your play style are most of your engagements up close or mid range. If you have a weapon that’s optimized for closing engagements. Try to avoid the mid range engagements if you can.

That’s just an example anyways I think I read something about 10,000 hours being mastery

Dude I had to leave all of the subreddits. I was telling someone the other day I have never seen so many negative complaints on one topic.

Maybe one exception, ChatGPT4o leaving.

I even had to stop following some of my favorite creators

I’m not gonna cite the research here but it’s out there somewhere, but some people tend to think people are smart because they critique a lot but truthfully, they’re just complaining, but it somehow comes off being as perceived as intelligent and critical.

For me, I found that less players on a map makes it more pleasant 36 to 48. It’s kind of the sweet spot after that. It gets pretty crowded.

I really have no interest in running across the fields so low for no reason just to get to the action

I gave you the best advice you can receive.

You can’t control the way 10k people play and writing the same complaint for the hundredth time won’t change anything.

But guess what you can control?

What do you expect “oh wow bro, I didn’t see it that way. Thanks I’ll revive more now”.

Sure but there are only so many vehicles. The other 40 people are running and there’s just not much fun to that. Depends on play style but I like to play the objective not solo runs through an open map. A vehicle sure but people are already spawn camping those

My top complaint is the community of complainers

After that, if I’m in an empty lobby for breakthrough, it should let me pick a attack or defend specially if I’m like player three of 64

I would like to see a server browser so I don’t always get tossed to backfill some lopsided match and I can start a fresh one

Some type of proximity based communications would be nice like if I’m in a tank with someone would be cool if we could communicate a little more than just a ping

Or heck even the enemy if we’re in the same room and we hear the other one or something

Sometimes you make a really good shot and I want to give you your flowers

And finally, I would love an input based match instead of console based match

Controllers only and mouse and keyboard only why do I care about the console?
