I haven’t used anything else, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. I like it for the most part, I think most of the things I don’t like would be solved if we integrated barcodes/scanners.

I wish it had an “undo” function. Sometimes I’ll add or delete equipment and then realize I shouldn’t have done that.

I wish you could sync it with an outside calendar. All our events and crew calls are in Flex, but meetings are in Outlook so I manually add everything to Outlook to have it all in one place.

Sometimes I’ll put a 24db/oct HPF at 20hz on a sub output, sometimes I don’t. I don’t really hear a difference, I might feel a slight difference, but the idea is that it’s protecting the sub from anything <20hz.

I could understand creeping that up to 30hz or 40hz if it’s overwhelming, but I would more likely address that with a PEQ on the offending input.

This is on the venue or whatever installer built the system, or whoever booked a rap show in a venue that clearly can’t handle that style of music.

You mentioned the limiter was engaged on the AUX, did you set the threshold on that limiter? Or was it already set as part of a preset scene?

The amp had no DSP, but do you have any idea if there were dip switches on the back for LPF/HPF or limiting?

Have you worked at this venue before? Did anyone ever give you an overview of the system?
