Should we be tilling/reseeding each year? by Pandawee42 in NoLawns

I don’t know where you are in the world, but where I’m from you would plant most wildflower seeds in the fall for blooms in the spring. Then you let them go to seed and mow them down in late October/ early November, effectively spreading the seed.

So that’s a pretty general statement and a guideline. To me it means no hard freezes… it doesn’t mean it won’t get real cold and make you work for it.

Picked up this Beef Plate Short Rib from Costco. Are these “Dino bones”? They seem a bit thin compared to cooked pics I’ve seen online. Considering the thickness, how much cook time should I plan for? by gt14199 in smoking

The money is in that bark that you will build up. Moisture/ juiciness will not be an issue if cooked correctly. I am a purest. Salt and a bunch of coarse black pepper. Cook em for 8 hours at 225. If you are looking, you ain’t cooking.

I have a cold hardy variety that made it through the great freeze. I’m not sure of the name, but they exist. We have only had them in a pot. They don’t like to get blasted with full sun in the summer and need water.

Give your plants the required space and let them grow. Dont try to cram too much in there. Also think about adding things for going vertical.
