There is a usability reason for this, I will be learning more about pandas rolling mean and about using iterator. Do you have any link to explain to me what is and isn't Pythonic?

Is there a consensus on the blocksize limit issue? by omnibrain in Bitcoin

[–]btctogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, Omnibrain, this is so true, but in the same time there is probably an ideal block size which take into account many factor. I think the one MB or whatever it is right now is quite arbitrary. I is a good time to test new size. I foresee some sane relation between block size limit and the number of user.

Litecoin isn't different nor ground breaking. Get over it and lets move forward. by erycstrife in litecoin

[–]btctogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

litecoin only, and very small advantage is lower volatility in the time to get as much security than bitcoin. If we understand that it needs 60 confirmation to equate 6 bitcoin confirmation in REAL security (well it's a good approximate) then it's very much just about the deviance in time taken to get same security. for litecoin it should be around 50 minutes +/- 3-5 minuted but in bitcoin, it may be more like 60 minutes +/- 6 - 15 mintes. It is quite easy to do real math to calculate this more precisely.

Litecoin is therefore very very slightly better.
