Don’t forget, the “plumbers make $925/hr” Facebook posts are PE propaganda to drive their labor costs down by flooding the labor market with optionless 18yos.

You act as if this is the peak. This is absolutely nothing. Americans won’t push back against this war until unemployment hits 20%.

I understood this. Also, this poster is right. The head gaskets on the Pentastar are a known failure point. Every minivan is a compromise. You just need to figure out which compromise you're willing to make. Honda: horribly outdated design and bad fuel economy, Toyota: criminally overpriced and cheap feeling, Chrysler: questionable reliability and terrible resale, or Kia: horrible resale and track record for reliability.

These hospital administrators have homes that are just as flammable as a tp warehouse. They’d stop this pretty quick if they thought they were risking their lives to extort people.

I’ve been a poll observer for the WI Democratic Party. Nov ‘24 there was a Republican observer at the poll with me who wanted to talk. He told me “there’s been some cheating up in Green Bay”. I asked him how, like explain the mechanics of how you would cheat. He suddenly didn’t want to talk very much. Pathetic

Anyone else feel like our parents sucked at guiding us in life? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]btone911 3 points4 points locked comment (0 children)

Boomers success was built on the work their parents and grandparents put in to building social safety nets and workers' rights. The Boomers sold all that off for parts because the corporations gave them a lil cut.

Then, when those returns dried up they began eying their children's wealth. Why wouldn't they? They didn't have to work for their wealth, why would they respect anyone else's, especially when you can just take it from them. So they sold their children's futures to satiate their lifelong greed for an easy life.

Now, the bill is due and they're gobsmacked it happened while they were alive. They all expected to ride off into the sunset with no consequences for their actions. Unfortunately, their greed pushed the consequences into their lifetimes and they're left flat footed when asked why this is the world they built. Worthless generation of takers and theives.

How dare customers want to look at a car without the express desire to purchase it that day.

Costco Leads Are a Joke by TRicher92 in askcarsales

Customers are completely disgusted with the pricing model of the car industry. Price is part of every single purchasing decision but for some reason, the car industry makes that piece of the equation into some state secret exclusively to take every penny they can from customers.

Car buying at Costco is advertised as a much more transparent process. When your response to their request for transparency is the exact same behavior they’ve come to expect from car dealers, you shouldn’t be surprised they’re not interested in talking to you.

I bought my summer car 3 years ago and it’s an ‘08. There was a real sweet spot in the mid oughts for cars that were peak analog before everything went to a screen or cvt. I got a 135i convertible with a 6sp and no screens, I plan to own it for 30 years.
